What cool new stuff was added since summer?

Hey! not sure if this type of thread is allowed but I stopped playing for a while because of life and stopped around before summer wave 2 was announced.
I know AC always has a ton of little hidden updates so can anyone let me know of the things that've been changed? I've seen the update videos nintendo do but not much further from those!!

You can buy sparklers, balloons, and bubble blowers at Nooks in the display case, which were previously available from Redd during the fireworks shows in August

You can also trip while holding balloons. There’s also the dream suite where you can visit other people’s town in your sleep.

I wouldn't call any of what was added 'cool'.

Mainly useless things like the Dream Suite.
Well, since the random dream function is gone.

No real new or old items either, which we sorely need.

I still think the dream suite is pretty cool, although personally I want someone to make a website where people can submit their dream codes and you get a random one every time you refresh so we can have that random feeling back. I wouldn't be such a downer, there's been plenty of new additions and it sounds like from recent interviews we have at least a year and a half more updates coming to the game.

We are lacking hundreds of items and I'm not the only one wanting them back. :-/

Also lots of folks miss the random dream option.

There’s a website that does allow you to visit random dreams actually! Look up “Crossing channel dream address” on Google. It’s not the same as a random feature in game but it’s pretty close

I think one of the reasons we liked that option was we didn't have to type in addresses.
I'll never use the DS.

I agree. Dream Suite is cool. I'd like an in-game way to access random dreams, but there are plenty of community driven tools for stuff like that.
