• Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.

What country do you want to live in ? And why ?

I would love to live in Puerto Rico (not a specific country technically part of the US) because I love the tropics, love how it is warm all year round, can go to the beach all year round. It is a beautiful beautiful island. My family is from there, I was born in the US.

Only reason I don't live there is too much crime, not safe to live there. I do visit it almost every year.

I'm UK native and living in the Netherlands. I prefer living in the Netherlands but the UK can be pretty cool too.

I like living here in the United States, but it would be cool to live in Japan. Anime and video games aside, I love their cars and electronics.

I want to stay in the US. I live in the US and I was born in the US. I, however, do want to travel and study abroad. Just because I like it in the US and want to live in the US, doesn't mean that I don't want to temporarily live in another country. I'm going to study abroad in college, so I see myself living temporarily in another country. I don't know which one though.

South Africa (because it's so beautiful), South Korea (because it's safe and the cities are beautiful), Canada (safe and beautiful and I have some family there), and Iceland (safest country in the world and beautiful)

This is in no particular order.

I've lived in the US and I'm currently living in South Korea, and I personally prefer the high tech Korea

Definitely not America because we've been screwed over by Donald Trump (we would've been screwed over by Hillary, too). I don't want to live here anymore. I'd rather move to England.

I would not like to move to a different country. You have to get used to the country's laws, culture, language, etc. America is my native country, and that's where I'm going to stay for the time being.

I live in England and, to put it simply, I love it. I'm very patriotic and feel so fortunate to have been born and raised in a country with such a rich history and culture. God save the Queen etc etc.

That said, I would consider a second home in Geneva, Switzerland. It has such breathtaking scenery, with a relaxed atmosphere, and is a very clean, peaceful and wealthy country.

i'm stuck between iceland and switzerland, they're both beautiful and peaceful places
i'd probably go for switzerland since i can speak german and french and i don't know icelandic

ANYWHERE else!!! I'm an American and I am terrified...

But in all seriousness I would prefer to live in Canada (that is not reactionary, I have wanted to live in Canada for a LONG time). The country is gorgeous and its values and political atmosphere more closely align with my beliefs. I am most definitely not a patriot as I feel that patriotism is often dangerous.

The US is great for a lot of reasons, but I am not married to it by any means.

UK because I feel safe & it doesn't get ridiculously hot here D:
Also because it rains a lot <3
I just love walking around the streets with your umbrella and there are hardly any people around and not many cards, it's so peaceful

y dont any of the people who want to leave america want to go to Mexico?

I cannot speak for everyone, but I will answer for myself. In my case it is because Canada is more similar to the US in culture and climate. I personally speak Spanish (well... more or less...), but many people do not and the idea of moving to a country where you do not speak the language can be off-putting.

I guarantee you that the people that are going to get most affected (minorities) are not going to be complaining as much as you people saying you want to leave. Although circumstantial, people claiming they want to leave are more or less the embodiment of white privilege.
