What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

Well I don't normally time travel but I've been busy irl and didn't want to miss the bug off on Saturday and the Fireworks Sunday night. So I currently have my time set to Sunday and it's 12:19 pm. I finally reached 5 stars!!! Halleluiah! Honestly I was getting really frustrated. I have all of my island besties...since May. I've got all fruits, all flowers including the hybrids. Although oddly enough, the most difficult one for me to get just finally popped up yesterday...a black cosmos. And I have hundreds of flowers, all of the varieties, lots of trees, all varieties, and still kept staying at 4 stars. I don't really like crowded islands, but I really, really wanted/needed that darn golden watering can, lol!
So here I am adding furniture, both DIY and Nook shopping. I would put what I thought was a lot of "stuff" down and check with Izzy and nope still 4. So I'm embarrassed to admit I finally just started plunking things down everywhere and kept checking. When I finally thought my island was a complete cluttered mess lol Isabelle says "ooh 5 stars, here's your golden watering can recipe" So yay, I am celebrating! But now I'm wondering....I know I will lose my 5 star if I start picking items up and returning to inventory. I'm sure I won't lose the watering can. Of course that probably means I wont get the lily of the valley which ok, that's fine. Is there anything else I will be kicking myself for if I don't maintain that 5 star?
Other things I accomplished today:
-got a really cute outfit at Ables...all red: shorts, shirt, knit cap, and matching pleather shoes.
-dug up a lot of flowers and sold to Nooks,
-spent 160,000 bells on a Castle Gate. Don't know what I'm going to do with it yet. Just trying to progress the Shop to It and Bell Ringer Achievements
-achieved the next level of Sprout Out Loud (3)
-Yay got the Frosted Cookies in a balloon
-Planted 8 green pumpkins and another 2 white pumpkins and now only have 1 more achievement level for Sprout Out Loud
So I feel pretty good about today!

Player learnt the Dark Rose Wreath that arrived in the mail.

• With the help of Liz!, I think I finished my DIY collection. So that's exciting. Went from 93% to 99%.
• Shook a Garden Faucet from the tree. This should be a DIY.
• Sold Maddie a Grasshopper.
• Today from the Able Sisters: Clover Dress, Tube Top came in at the end of the month, finally.
• Got Forest Life from K.K. today.
• Got a Meadow Vista Wall, Supermarket Wall,
• Crafted: Stone Table, Tree-Stump Rug, Tall Lantern, Stacked-Wood Wall, Wooden-Knot Wall, Wooden Double Bed, Wooden Field Sign, Project Table, Wooden Table, Wooden Box, Wooden Block Stool, Wooden Block Bench, Wooden Block Bed, Wooden Mini Table, Wooden Music Box, Unglazed Dish Set, Wooden End Table, Log Fence, Windflower Crown, Tulip Wreath, Snazzy Pansy Wreath, and a Wooden Storage Shed.
  • Customized all of these.

• I'm really happy I have the Wooden Storage Shed now. Finally.
• I let Kitt come over and she gave me a Security Uniform, which was new.
• I DONATED A LEGITIMATE VALIANT STATUE
  • 15 items left.
• Beach DIY was Carrot Scones! That's new!
• Gullivarrr is on the island today.
• Cherry lost a notebook and I found it; got a new Jester Costume.
• New Able Sister items: Pineapple Cap and Racing Helmet. Glad to get the former before the end of the month.
• Headwear is up from 69% to 70%. Fashion total is still 79% but it's creeping up!
• I need motivation to create the three new houses to finally technically "finish" HHP and unlock redoing neighbor's homes and the Apparel Shop.
• Customized a Whiteboard and Pennant.
• Cooked new recipes: Grilled Sea Bass with Herbs, Barred Knifejaw Carpaccio, Aji Fry, Carrot Scones, and Sea Bass Pie.

Today is an exciting day! I've played for awhile now and didn't really care to put in the extra outside work to get a 5 star rating. I was happy with 4. But I got tired of not having the golden watering can so last week I finally got it to level 5 and got the golden watering can, yay. But the big excitement for me today is I found a Lily of the Valley growing on my island! I was so amazed and excited because I assumed it would take awhile. So happy to get this pretty little flower.
And just now I caught a soft shelled turtle....that tbh, I didn't even know I needed, lol! So a happy, productive day.

Did some terraforming, put some new fencing up, and decorated the outside of my museum (though it is currently unfinished). Looking at Reddit and Pinterest for island inspo! I also may swap out Judy and Coco for some new villagers... to be decided!

Also did some obligatory fishing to complete my museum and went to some islands for gyroid fragments.

Nothing much today as I am going on holidays soon so I was just cleaning up my island:

• Checked all my mail
• Cleaned out my letterbox that was full of items
• Pulled all the weeds around my front garden area
• Watered all the roses out the front garden
• Cleaned up the beach front
• Watered the front gardens near island entrance
• Started puling weeds from back area of my island

I leave in a day for holidays so I just want to clean up my island so when I get back I can start thinking how I want to decorate it for halloween

Well, I usually do the same old stuff; pick up the 15 sticks, clean weeds, sell random stuff I'm given - nothing too interesting. Today, however, Kyle asked me to deliver a gift to Tom as an apology for getting into a joke war with him, and told me he was nervous. I did the dirty work, of course, and Tom was satisfied.

Seems like any ordinary task, right? Wrong. Kyle was actually pacing outside of Tom's house when I came up to him, so I'm willing to bet that Kyle's argument with Tom had just happened, quickly ran back to his house to calm down, grabbed his "I'm sorry" gift, and came back to Tom's, but was too nervous to go inside and apologize himself. I actually thought that scenario was pretty realistic, not gonna lie.

I got flowers from my daughter and I'm using them in my town. I'm going for "movie" theme areas by some my residents houses will be terribly corny like my "Gone With The Wind"
