I don't usually think so much about the direction the bed is facing, but where the window is. Because I feel like I've grown up in rooms a lot with east-facing windows, and that means when the sun comes up it's very bright in the room. I've always been a morning person, and I wonder if that's why!
Right now I have a south facing window. So my bed faces to the west, the head is on the east side of the room.
Even though the window is on the South, I think there is still a fair amount of light that comes in in the morning. Maybe my theory about east-facing windows only really matters in comparison to west facing window rooms!
If “facing” means what direction I look towards while sitting up against the pillow, then East. Interesting question, I’ve never thought about this. My bed has been in this same place for like 20 years lol, it just works with the size of the bed and the room, and then eventually I added a TV and the bed faces that but the bed’s been there longer than the TV.
