What do you guys do with your photo studio?

sometimes each month I use it to make "family" photos with my villagers

I really only use it to take pictures for events here on tbt like a sleepover for the fair and a winter themed scene for the winter event, etc. Otherwise I tend to forget Harv's island exists since I'm not into posters either which would be my only other reason to go. But reading some posts here makes me want to make some cute daily life or season themed scenes to take pictures of my villagers interacting with each other. I'm also thinking of starting up my island journal soon so it would be useful for that!

I did a similar thing, and I also take the group photo when a villager moves out!

Mostly, each room is a different type of room where I can take a group photo.

There's a party room (tables, chairs, lighting, garland and food), and you can swap out tablecloth colour or light colour depending on whose party. You can do moving out and birthday's here, or even better is to have a party room and a separate birthday party room with the birthday decor.

There's a portrait room, where the back row sit on stools and the front row sit on the floor.

The entrance is sort of like a waiting room with sofas etc. Where we don't take pictures.

The worst idea I came up with was a yoga studio. Each villager had their own mat. It was cute for one picture where we did a synchronised workout picture. But it's not good for more than that.

Then you can have a room for the holiday theme, e.g. bunny day.

I happened to be going to Harv's today, so snapped a pic of each room that was set up. I'm not talented like the many people on here, but I like to take pictures as a sentimental reminder of each occasion.

I do all my decorating in the photo studio! It's so much easier than trying to deal with the house's tiny storage and reordering items when all I want is a quick themed room to take photos of new outfits. My latest room is a little park!

I've actually only ever used my photo studio for the wedding event or for TBT competitions, but reading through what everyone else has done I might just have to start using it a little more! i always meant to use it to test out house designs but just totally forgot to lmao

I used to love doing photoshoots with my villagers but they take so long to set up. Mine us currently a TBT challenge/fair/event graveyard. You got Toy Day setups, sleepover rooms for the fair last summer, you name it. I'm too lazy to go in and change any of it! I usually only use it now as a place to invite amiibos to get posters and items.

I have to say though going into the fair sleepover room was really nostalgic and I think I'll probably go back soon and set up a cute room for a villager photoshoot with the new Sanrio villagers. I forgot how much fun it was to set everything up!

I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of a birthday party room. I’ll start doing that for the next birthday on my island. It’ll be much better than the party of three photo I usually take at the villager’s house.lol

I haven't really used Harvey's Island at all. The only time I've used it is for the Wedding Season photoshoots and for TBT events. I guess I could use it for room design or event photoshoots (i.e. holidays, villagers arriving/leaving), but, that's effort, lol

I also do the photo of three! At the last birthday, I forgot it was only two villagers that attended and I was so upset that no-one was attending Louie's party.

i mostly use mine to plan different rooms for my home, and to play dress up with my islanders. i've used it to take group island photos in the past as well. i also had a lot of fun with the wedding event, i hope there'll be more events like it in the future with new themes/items/etc.

I know it’s due to the size limitation of the house but I think an extra guest villager would make it seem more like a party. I recently found out that the guest villager will actually change if you reload the game, which I guess makes it seem less sad than just having one guest for the whole party.
