I've definitely used other forum sites for info I couldn't find about the game, but this was the first one I found that I thought was easy to navigate, had an appealing design, and thus became the first forum-type website I have ever joined, and is actually still the only one! I've met so many kind, and generous people. I've also got a lot of items and fruit I know I wouldn't have gotten without meeting and trading with the people I have met on here. I've learned a lot about animal crossing and norms of trading and designing. Talking about the game and the characters, as well as literally anything else is very entertaining too!

Totally agree, so many nice people who are willing to help answer questions and hang out virtually!

I joined for the wealth of information about Animal Crossing and the skill some people had for making town tunes, patterns, etc. I stayed because everybody was so nice and this is a really great community.

I like that TBT is a "relatively" small community, compared to something like the AC subreddit. Reddit in general has issues with astroturfing and everything just seems to have a greasy political bias all over it. So it's nice to have a place to browse for discussion, trades, etc without all the unnecessary noise. Everyone here has been super pleasant. It's very much a positive community.
