What do you think about the Elephants? (Discussion)

They are ok but not my first pick. I like them better than the rhinos and hippos. I feel like the elephants can be designed in a more unique way compared to the rhinos and hippos. Like Chai, Margie, Tia, and Tucker for example. Sure the rhinos have Merengue, but still. I don't feel like any of those templates could be improved. I think the designers did a good job in that aspect.

I started to appreciate them more as time went by, but yeah, I agree some faces are still a bit weird to me I guess.

Personally, I find it odd with some having their mouths on one side. I think that's why Axel is my favorite elephant (and one of my favorite villagers in general).

Less keen admittedly. I don't mind bigger villagers like gorillas and bears. But something about the elephants looks really off to me and I dunno why that is. Probably the face-on and eye placement. Though my favourites are the hamsters and I know a lot of people dislike their designs too.

I like them better than the rhinos and hippos. Cyd is a favorite and I've also enjoyed having Margie, Ellie, Big Top, Chai, and Tia. I'd like to eventually adopt Axel and maybe Dizzy as well.

I think most of their designs are boring, but I don't really like the "big" villagers to begin with.

I think the elephants are alright. Some of their designs are cute, but the side mouth thing they have going on is a little weird to me—if they're facing the wrong way, it just looks like they don't have a mouth at all. I'm more partial to the other large villager species, so I think I might like them better if their mouth design was more in line with, say, the rhinos.
Of the elephants, I do have a serious soft spot for Opal, though. She's probably my favorite of the bunch.

I love the elephants. Tia is adorable! Margie, Chai, Ellie and Dizzy are great too. I find their big heads to be pretty cute.

i know everyone has their own opinions; i like ~most~ of the elephants. ellie is someone i'm thinking of hunting for currently, as i've not had her before and she seems so very cute.

in past games i've never really had elephants, as i always ended up with squirrels, bunnies and mice. i'd love to see/interact with elephant villagers more!
