What do you think about the new switch lite? Will you get one? Or if you have one, how is it?

If I were to get a switch lite, would I need to buy another copy of animal crossing? I own a digital copy on my husband's switch.

You won't, I have a digital copy that I've also installed and played from my profile on my boyfriend's Switch. The game is tied to your profile, so as long as you connect the profile on your new Switch to the same Nintendo account, you'll be fine.

The only problem is that you can only have one console designated as your main console, and you're somewhat limited on the secondary console - other profiles can't open games you bought digital copies of, and you need an active internet connection to open games from your profile. It's not a big deal if you have a stable internet connection, though - my personal Switch is actually my secondary console, since my boyfriend had bought games on my profile, and I barely, if ever, have had issues with it.

I would never get one because of the joycon drift and hassle it would be to get it repaired. I have gone through so many joycons on my normal switch because of how poorly they are designed and I hear the switch lite eventually has the same problem for most people, which lead to lawsuits and such.

I bought a switch lite when AC came out so that I could play AC without sharing the switch and it was one of the best things I could've bought! as much as I enjoy the ability to play the regular switch on the TV, I almost never actually do that since i don't have constant access to my TV so handheld is far more convenient for me. my only problem with my switch is that i didn't get it in a nice colour lol, would definitely recommend getting one if you're thinking about it and are able to

i had a switch lite for a few months but sold it pretty quickly tbh. i got the animal crossing switch and couldn't be happier with it, i just vastly prefer being able to hook it up to a tv. the lite definitely has the prettier color designs tho

I have the animal crossing regular switch. I don’t think I would switch it to a lite. The one I have still performs very well and it doesn’t have any issues. I won’t be getting a second one either.
