Today I have past a lot of time making a new signature because the other one was outdated (a villager moved out). Making the leaf move was the most time-consuming in my opinion. I used GIMP for it because it is a FREE program and I can make animated gifs with it. I was wondering what you people thought about it... In other words I need some input. Tell me what is wrong with it, what is good about it, and even give me some ideas for future signatures. You can also just write what you first thought when you first saw it. Anyway, just be honest, ok? i just want to get some input to try to get better and stuff...

I love GIMP <3 I never learned how to make gifs though ahaha I might plan on to in the future though!~ I really love the leaf gif you did it's cute!! But it's really too distracting (only if you want the main focus to be your villagers/town name then it'll be a problem). The border is too thick, text doesn't match, grass is a little plain, and cherries next to your town name are out of place.

If you are new to making signatures though, then this is a really great start! c: I love the simplicity!~ Keep it up!!

Thank you I thought it would draw attention to my signature, but ok. I thought the border was a good size... mmmhhh. You know like a frame kind of? The text doesn't match? What do you mean? I should add black pixels around the letters? Yes I agree that the grass is plain Any idea how to make it look less plain? The cherries next to my town name are out of place? Are they supposed to be at a certain spot?

It's well done for a simple signature. I definitely know how long these can take too so good job!

Since people are saying the grass is a bit plain, you could always redo it with the circle, square, or triangle pattern that's in your town. I think the leaf is a nice touch and makes the sig 'pop', but I think the fact that it flies off into the border makes it look strange. It should have been flown off underneath the border which should make it less weird looking. The rate that it's flying should also be a little faster and smoother, it's still cute though! Since you're trying out animation for your sig, you should also try and make the villagers move up and down or something like that so that it's more lively? Just a suggestion though, you don't have to of course, especially since other signatures have animated backgrounds with villagers just placed on top.

I understand what you mean, especially since there are 9 villagers, it's gonna probably take forever anyways. Either way it was just a suggestion for you to try if you ever decide to do it c:

It should be under filters I believe. I haven't used gimp in such a long time after switching over and using photoshop so sorry if that's the wrong information. I'm sure Google would be way more helpful than me lol

The leaf definitely draws attention to your sig!! I'm just saying it's TOO distracting in my opinion XD Haha! Also since you are going for a frame like image, then yeah, that's a pretty good size for your border c:

What I mean about the text not matching is that it doesn't blend well with the sig >: (But don't worry, everyone has this problem when they start. Text is always the hardest part about gfx ; __ ; ) Maybe try using a different font or try some effects with the text! o:

As for your cherries, they don't need to be in a specific place, it's up to you of where you want to place them, but I personally think it doesn't fit there.

I think it looks gr8 for your second sig ;u; though the advice I would give might just be repetitive xD But yea I'm not even close to an expert when it comes to this sorta thing

-the leaf definitely caught my attention and I like it! Though personally I get distracted easily so...
- the text could be bigger~
- perhaps overall, somehow make the villagers and your text bigger? (Not sure if it's possible lol I've never tried o.o)
- the grass is plain! Maybe add some flowers? C:
- I think there is too much contrast between the bg and the text. It seems a bit harsh, and the text fades in with the clouds.
- try positioning your villagers in a zig zag kinda pattern so it looks like some are standing on the grass~

I like the leaf. The clouds kind of all look the same besides the size though. Maybe differ the shapes a bit? I would also add more trees behind the villagers so the two different trees you have won't look out of place.
