I have something to add to that point. Resetti was arguably at his worst in WW, because instead of cautioning you to not "reset" your system in your first interaction with him, as in the original and CF, he makes a few jabs at you, so he's already hostile from the start, rather than his temperament building up gradually.and finally, kinda a controversial one, but i do not miss resettis old behavior. yes, i was/am still sensitive, playing wild world as a child and having my ds die on me and then being yelled at by a mole was so stressful. i get that some people dont mind it and see it as a "reasonable" punishment for resetting, but sometimes it wasnt even an intentional reset, and there was no way of being able to tell that. so i would be forced to type out the phrase "i am an idiot" or something because i was 5 seconds too late to plug in my charger. i do like that NL made it optional with the reset center though.
WW, having the smallest map, and not having much terrain, four player characters having their own house, just wasn't feasible. Besides, up until NL, it was the one game where you could have a huge mansion; other players could contribute to paying off those pesky Nook loans — it's ultimately a great pay-off in the end, I believe.all villagers sharing a house, why did wild world do that i have no idea.
Well that was easy...everything I was going to mention is all right here.Villagers plonking their homes wherever they fancied. Villagers leaving the next day if you missed their message. The grass erosion.
I fully agree with Resetti. I found it funny as a kid and was taken aback at a video game character being so mad at me but it's just kinda old news now. I wouldn't want it as a feature anymore.I'd have something to add to that point. I also don't really care about the long-winded rants Resetti would drone on about being gone. It was funny at first, but by the third game, I think the writers themselves were tired of this joke of an angry mole screaming in your face for nearly five minutes for "resetting". And the whole "resetting" bit honestly could've been the game freezing, or maybe the console couldn't read the game. I find being yelled at for something that was out of your control to be irritating, rather than humorous.
Regardless of what anyone says about how NL handled characterization, it did this particular aspect in the best possible way. Sure, I think he should've been more angry and insulting if you chose the first option, but I'm glad it's an option, and that Nintendo finally realized what "reset" actually means.

This is actually one of the things I miss most. The NH Toy Day is so bland and over so quick. I liked listening to villagers drop hints throughout December in NL.I don't miss trying to figure out everyone's gifts on Toy Day.
