What if the player could have a sleepover at the houses of villagers at night?

At night in animal crossing there is usually not much to do besides digging fossils fishing and catching bugs or going to the island. Now I have an idea what if you could have some kind of sleepover at the houses of villagers at night? there could be some fun unlockable minigames to play with them like pillow wars.
This could work especially for people who only play at night or in the evening and need something to do.

Interesting, sounds very different for Animal Crossing however.
I probably would not find myself using it much either if there is no benefit, a friendship raise would be nice, but even then I think I would pass as I do with island tours.

Pretty neat idea. This is something I would do during the Summer time, especially after I gotten all the bugs and fish and don't have much else to do and just want to relax and have some fun with my villagers.

Hm, sounds like a fun idea, I would like it however more the other way around, like a villager could
have a sleepover at the house of the player.

I’m not ~massively~ sure how easy this would be to incorporate into the game, but it’s such a cute idea! I agree with the poster saying it would be nice to have the option to have the villager over at your house too.

I get bored after maybe 30 seconds when I'm having villagers over or I'm visiting them so I can't really see this being a big draw for me.

Having social interactions with anthropomorphic animals the normal way is fine, but not like this.

But if it were to exist, then we?d just see shadow lighting outside of the villagers house having pillow fights.

As someone who time travels a lot while playing Animal Crossing, I don’t think it would work well for me. If I had a sleepover at their house, and I time traveled by six months...

Just thinking about it makes me not support this idea.

I think it'd be fun, however, I can see it getting old real quick. I don't even like having my villager in my house for the minute or two they spend in it lol! But it'd be nice to see just more interactions with them in general. I wouldn't mind a sleepover or even something as simple as a few of your villagers and yourself just hanging out!
