Hello everyone!
So I was having a conversation with my friends, and somehow we started talking about "what would happen if you were born on leap year?"
One of my friends said "it's gonna be sad when my cousins die at like 30"
But in all seriousness, what would happen? Would you only have your birthday every 4 years? Or would you move your birthday a day to celebrate it properly?
What do you guys think?
Can't wait to hear what everyone thinks about this lmao

one of my coworkers has a leap year birthday. he celebrates on march 1st. i've heard some people celebrate on the 28th. it just depends on what the leap birthday person wants i guess.

I used to know someone whose birthday was on February 29th. He usually acknowledged it on March 1st if it wasn't a leap year. But generally, most people I know celebrate their birthdays on the closest weekend anyway, so it wasn't a big deal for him to just move it to the next available day.

One of the girls at my old school has her birthday on a leap year day. She’s 6 but in 6th grade. :)

if i was born feb. 29 id just celebrate my bday march 1 on non-leap years.

i work at a hospital with a huge birthing unit so im excited to see some leapies

If I was born on February 29 and going by the logic of not celebrating it on March 1, then technically speaking, I would be approaching 4 years old if that makes any sense. That would be sad for me because I would have to miss out on my birthday every 4 years. I'm curious if there's any special dialogue in Animal Crossing about having a birthday on a leap year day.

My friend was born on February 29th and always celebrate on February 28th. Unless there is a 29th that year...

I think celebrating on March 1st makes the most sense, because you'll always celebrate the day after Feb 28th. I also think celebrating your birthday during a leap year then would be a lot more fun, it would feel much more special.

Well it wouldn't have a too biggie for me, but yeah all those dumb jokes and questions would probably annoy me more yes. And yeah people just probably celebrate the date before or after... shrug..

I mean you should probably celebrate on the 1st of March because it's technically the same day in different years because it comes after the 28th.

I think that it would be really cool if I was born on Feb 29th, personally. I could probably use it as joke fodder etc. LOL
