What is going on with the balloon presents?

I was balloon hunting earlier for the maple leaf rug diy and I'm getting almost no balloons. In a 40 min period I had 2. I did go into buildings to reset and it didn't help. I'm wondering if this was caused by the new patch. Anyone else having this problem?

Hmm now that you mentioned it I haven't seen any balloon gifts at all this week. I've been too busy with Happy Home Paradise that I didn't even see any. I hope this is not an issue.

They have already put out 2 patches to fix bugs so hopefully if this an issue they will fix it soon. I'm gonna watch it and if it continues I will report it to nintendo

Okay if you see any balloon gifts just keep us updated on how long they take to spawn in.

They might just be flying by you either further up or down on the island?

In the morning/afternoon, balloons spawn the the left beach.

I usually run up and down the entire left side until I spot a balloon at the 04 and 09 marks.

I haven’t had any issue with balloon spawn

I went balloonn hunting yesterday and found a plethora of balloons to shoot down. I'm sure you were just unlucky. (Not Katrina unlucky, as balloons should have no affect on the bad luck)

Didn't even know this was an issue for people, because the amount of balloons I have been getting is stupid. I just end up ignoring them most of the time XD.

But no, I haven't been experiencing balloon spawning issues... I've had too many and I'm sick of them lols. That is weird though, hopefully it's not a bug.

I'm getting plenty of balloons, but almost no seasonal DIYs - maybe only one or two a week. It's incredibly frustrating to keep shooting down balloons only to get clothing or bells instead of recipes. So far this fall, I've only gotten five seasonal DIYs. At this rate, it'll take me years to complete all the various series!

Lots of balloons on both island but low Seasonal DIY recipes.
Last year I was able to complete 5 Players Maple Leaf collections.
First day this year and it took 4 hours for a new player to get her first Maple Leaf DIY recipe. Lots of new furniture and clothing.

I hunted for the new seasonal recipes this fall and haven't noticed much of a difference to be honest. I would imagine you just got unlucky and missed one or two.

Before the update i would see a couple in a hour, now its more like one every hour or two. Maybe nintendo thought it was too frequent and lessened the amount?
