My best subjects were always english and science. I'd probably have to say science was my absolute best, though, because I tried harder since I actually enjoyed it.
In high school it was the IT class. anything to do with computers, I was so good at it. In college my best and favourite class was the silkscreen courses I did. I do printmaking for a living now too <3
For me it's always been English and Art. I loved those subjects enough to put a lot of effort into them. Though it's kind of heartbreaking when you make the transition from high school to university, especially in something like art. I went from being the best in my class to pretty mediocre amongst my university colleagues, but I guess that's to be expected lol.
I was never interested in French as a class but I still aced my exam, sometimes I wonder if language and translation would have been a better major for me. But alas, what's done is done!
There's definitely a difference between my best subject and my favorite subject. My favorite subject in school is English, because I love to read and write and talk about books and poetry. There's a reason I'm an English major. Meanwhile, I hate math, so much, and I'm grateful that I'm good enough at it that I haven't taken a class since my junior year of high school and never have to take another class ever again. But I'm great at math! It comes so easily to me because I pick patterns and formulas up really quickly, but it takes a lot more brain effort to understand a novel, especially when that novel is written by Chaucer in Middle English and you need to read the entirety of The Canterbury Tales in a night. Not that I speak from experience;
Biology!
Science is loveeeee
Majored in it in undergrad and never once could think of anything else I would've rather done
Now in grad school for genetics and never looking back
English is my best subject. I don't love it, since the homework and classwork is often very time-consuming, but I've always been pretty good at writing and analyzing passages.
Art was by far the best and most intriguing subject for me in school. Sometimes in other lessons I would just find myself sat doodling on the sides of my book as the teacher spoke to the class, I felt that was how my mind processed the information and it improved my memory and understanding to what had been said during lessons. Of course, I would always get told off for it but it was my own creativity that helped me to progress further with my studies. Doodling was my way of learning, I just wished that teachers had understood this at the time and would have been more considerate. I was always reported for "not listening" or for "not paying any attention to the class discussions" which would aggravate me.
I'd say Civics, Maths, Geography, Biology and Art. Also, English. Now that I moved to Poland, my Polish isn't that good so Polish certainly isn't my best subject...
I hate Physics and I'm not that good at, I'm not a huge fan of History either, and I'm pretty terrible at PE, even though I try .-.
I enjoy playing different sports and moving in general, I'm learning Nihon Buyo dance, yet I still can't catch a damn ball in volleyball, but I like the sport- it's quite fun.
I'm good at Maths because I just understand it. Civics and Art are also subjects that come naturally to me, and I find Geography enjoyable- I'm pretty good at it. Same goes for Biology. I'm good at English mainly because I write a lot and I enjoy doing it.
That's all I have to say, the thought of school makes me sick... haha
