What is the btb conversion rate??

A lot of times i see people asking for btb when selling something. But i don't understand how they arrive at the numbers they do. Like how does X amount of bells = Y amount of btb ???

Sigh... it's all over the place. I just look at former sales on the marketplace side to hazard a guess. If you charge too much, I can assure you that players will let you know. Don't even try to convert bells to BTB . It will just give you a headache. Re-tail tends to be cheaper but it's easier to get what you want and quicker on the BTB side

Ah, I was worried that might be the case. I've only ever used btb for villager purchases, so i have no clue how to convert down for smaller purchases. I think i'll just stick to bells then. Thanks for the information.

It fluctuates a lot lately. Generally it was 5mil bells per 100 btb, but I guess now it's 10mil per 100?
