Bells, or TBT/tbt is the the currency here (vs. IGB---in game bells). You earn bells by posting in pretty much every subforum here except The Basement. You can then go to the "Shop" tab below the banner image at the top to buy collectibles, which are shown on your sidebar under your username, avatar, etc. Collectibles are really just nice things to have and some are rarer than others. c: Some are won through contests or raffles, for example, so less people have it and others are even nontradeable/giftable so they stay with the person/account.

it'd of been a hilarious "**** you" if the shop deadline was christmas day, since we're not getting the last 2 tinsel (for users to have enough for any 60-priced items) until tomorrow
