I answered these two:

Adventure (Open world, Adventure RPG, Story heavy, etc)

Role-Playing (Action RPG, Adventure RPG, JRPG, Rogue-likes, etc)

I am very into RPGs so these two are mostly the deciding factors. I also like simulation games but it really depends on the game. A simulation game like Animal Crossing, for instance, appeals to me. However, games like the Sims do not.

RPGs are the majority of what I play. Most of the time they’re JRPGs, but recently I’ve been enjoying western RPGs too. It’s a diverse genre filled with a wide type of games while usually having an emphasis on story and characters. If I’m burned out on turn based RPGs, I can just boot up an action RPG and get a different experience.

i like games that arent really games , like yume nikki / yume nikki fanganes ! where its more about atmosphere , art and walking around.. i also love animal crossing and kirby 64 .. other then that im not that much of a video game person

Open World, just so that I can explore. I love getting all collectibles too, as long as they have some sort of marker (looking at you GTAV...).

Other than that I'd just say "Casual". I love just having Balatro open and chilling while watching TV.

I play most types of games but probably spend more of my playtime on RPGs. I'm always working on some. I like turn based RPGs the most. There is just something so satisfying about improving stats and devising strategies, and the stories are often interesting too. Other genres I play a lot include action/adventure, simulation/sandbox, and rhythm games.
