I love sisterly and peppy villagers.

I have more normals than any other type, but my two favourite villagers are sisterly (Agnes) and peppy (Patty). There are a lot of really sweet normals though. On my island at the moment I have Savannah, Poppy, Rhonda, Merengue, Gayle and Megan.

Louie (jock) is also a favourite villager, but I would say it's him specifically that I like, and not the jock personality in general.

Probably between normal, jock, sisterly, and peppy. I used to really like lazy, but them talking about bugs and doing grungy things turned me off a bit. Not sure which of the 4 I want to vote for though lol.

I am not sure tbh. If this was NL, I would pick lazy or peppy. I still am fond of the lazies but not the bug talk. I like a lot of the peppy villager designs but Idk, some of the villagers did not seem to give me the same vibe as they gave me in NL like Puddles was my favorite but when I invited her to the campsite I found her different. I like my snooty that I have but I miss them being meaner and snootier even though I used to not like snooties for this reason in NL. Crankies were another favorite but again, i wish they were crankier and also, I hate their singing voice. Jocks, I used to hate but I have grow to appreciate thanks to Rudy and there are so many designs that I like. I don’t care about muscles or sweat talk but I’ve droned it out. Smugs, I used to not like. Keaton always gave me this creepy flirty vibe, but then I got marshal in NL and loved him. I love Raymond and Marshal still. Sisterly I don’t remember at all in Nl though I do know I loved Frita’s design, sadly I don’t remember how I enjoyed Frita. I haven’t bonded with Reneigh much and didn’t care for Fuschia when I had her,

I might end up voting jock, but am going to think on this more.

I love the peppy and normals the most! I find them both really fun and love their dialogue and designs both. They are just fun, loveable, and they always cheer me up.

I also really like the sisterly types - their dialogue and designs really stands out, and they have such funny funky sides. I love how the different designs make me get a different vibe from some of them (like Shari seems sweet and spacey to me, while fuchsia seems more tough and sassy)

Lazies are super fun and i like how weird they are and how they are little baby philosophers. and jocks are unexpectedly sweet and fun, and such good buddies.

smugs I love if they are Rodney, Graham or select others. But for some reason some of them come off weirdly flirty, which I don’t like. Even though I did like Lionel, I had this issue with him, and it made me find him kind of off putting. (But I love love love Rodney.)

snooties I like some of the of the designs a lot (Soleil is so beautiful), and they are nice and have their moments, but I find them the most boring of any of the personalities; their interests are just so dull. I think irl snootiness / stuck up classiness is a really distasteful trait.

Crankies are my least favorite. I don’t really think ‘old’ is a personality. I don’t like their low voices either. I wish they had cute voices like the rest of the villagers. It is a shame though, because some of them, like kabuki, cyd, and Ike, have really great designs.

I’m so happy you ended up liking Rodney! Rodney is king! Graham is so cute too . I did not know some of the villagers have the flirty vibe in Nh too. I hope I don’t come across any of them since that is why I disliked Keaton (and I don’t like his design).

Oh I forgot to mention normals. I like the normals a lot since they seem to share the same mentality and anxiety I have.

I think that is why I disliked the snooties in Nl. I don’t like egotism (so technically I shouldn’t like snooties or smugs), but now I kinda miss how kinda mean they were.

You explain everything really well. I did notice lazies sometimes say philosophical things, but I never gave it too much thought until you mentioned it.

Sisterly! Not only do I relate to it, but I just find the villagers are so nice. Like, I'd totally be friends with/date sisterlies IRL. They can come off as kind of gruff, but are actually super sweet. And they just seem to have their priorities straight- they know what's worth getting upset about, and they know what just doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I also really love the designs of several sisterlies, including my favorite villager, Ursala. They also just seem to be one of the more developed personalities to me, because it feels like they're not as easily summer up in one word as the others.

Kind surprised to see it's in the lead in the poll RN, since I feel like I see a lot of people who dislike it! Makes me happy to see I'm not alone ☺

Was pretty undecided, but I went with Jock this time. They're most certainly the best neighbors to have. They seem to be extremely kind, active, and seem to want to help out anyway they can. Pierce has been an absolute pillar on my island that I'm not sure I'll ever part with. He always seems to be about and always seems to patrol new areas I build like he wants to help or keep it safe. Biff was my starter Jock and one of my first 2 villagers to experience, so he has the special place to me and is a beautiful crimson color. (too bad his home sucks) Sly was like a "B" tier dreamy that I adopted and really enjoyed his time on my island. I gave him a tire obstacle course and a shooting range for his stay. Lastly I adopted Sheldon from my campsite and was always drawn to wanting him, and I really do think he is pretty dang cute for a villager many people consider the worst Squirrel. And I'm still interested in more Jocks like Drift, Tybalt, and Rod.

it’s a tie between normal and lazy for me. i absolutely adore everything about the normal villagers, from their dialogue to their designs, which is why i almost always have 3+ normals on my island at any given time.

i adore the lazies as well, though! they’re such sweethearts and their dialogue never fails to make me laugh. i tend to have 2-3 lazies on my island at any given time, too, but i don’t mind. i like having them around. ^^

Jock will always be my favorite. I know a lot of people are put off by the musclehead trope they've been given in NH, but I've always liked them since the earlier days. Also, most of my early favorites were jocks. Before Sterling, Rod was my first favorite villager, followed by Kid Cat, then Leonardo.

Lazies are my close second. I'm a bit disappointed that they've been mostly talking about bugs and snacks in this game, but a lot of their dialogue can really make you think at times. Sometimes, it may even be surprisingly deep. Also because Bob. Also Punchy.

My favourite is lazy. It has being ever since I fell in love with Alfonso, and he became my favourite villager.

They say the cutest, weirdest things and I find their obsession with bugs kinda cute, although I know most people don't.

Other lazies I love would be Papi, Zucker, Erik, Joey, Punchy, Jeremiah and Filbert.

A close second to the lazies are the normals. One of my other all-time favourite villagers is Skye. I just love everything about her from the way she looks/her design to her house. The normals always seem to have the best designs, and are friendly and cute.

Other normals I love would be Gayle, Lily, Melba, Molly, Pekoe, Sylvana and Maple.
