I am currently cleaning out the house a bit and that made me wonder what are some of the proudest possessions of you guys!
Talking about actual items, not something like "my dog" or "my rights", as I don't see animals as a item that you own and we all have rights. 😄
I see some items as rather obvious to be the proudest ones to own, such as a engagement ring, a car, house, etc. so bring out some unique things!
Everyone sees items different. It can be literally a rock that has no worth to others, but it might be the items you're the most proud of to own for
a specific reason. So don't be shy, we don't judge here. ❤

As for me, my proudest possession currently is my new pair of sunglasses!
Why? Because they are completely different from what I would usually take and they fit me really well. 🕶

I would say mine is my college diploma, took me four years and a lot of pain and suffering to get it, wouldn't say it was 100% worth the money and sacrifice but ey I got a bachelor's degree lol

besides that I'm really proud of my copy of Super Mario 64 which is complete in box and in near mint condition :)

for me it would be my floorball sticks! i saved up for a whole year to buy them and they're very nice. they're lightweight and the right size for my height because the ones at my school gym were too tall and kinda old and the grips were stinky ngl ^^" also i love carrying them around (in a bag, not pictured) because it makes me feel cool haha. plus i've competed with these and won a tournament with my team!

A book by Lindsey Stirling (the violinist) that's autographed and personalized by her (she wrote my name in it)
an autographed poster of her
My high school diploma, it was a struggle for me to get through high school while dealing with mental health issues and it's a miracle I graduated really. Eventually I'll have a college diploma to add to that.
My baptism certificate
A custom made wooden harry potter wand I ordered from a company on Etsy
And last but not least my videogame collection :)

Lindsey Stirling is amazing, she just evokes soo much emotion through her playing. It's been a while since I've listened to her. I used to all the time!

A production storyboard from Jurassic Park. It's from the scene right before the T-rex is revealed (my fav scene from my fav movie). I usually don't buy movie props but couldn't resist when I found this one 😊

That's a pretty cool movie prop, can't blame you there!

If you asked me a few weeks ago, I would've said my turquoise Switch Lite. It was basically the only present I got for my 20th birthday because I told my mom I wanted one more than anything else. AC:NH had come out a month before and I was feeling a little left out because I knew I wouldn't be able to participate in a lot of TBT events if I didn't get it. My Switch Lite has served me well and given me over a year of enjoyment. However, a few days ago my mom purchased me a used car so I can get to my teaching internship this coming semester. It was a very long period of searching for the right vehicle, finding one I wanted in the price range, and then having it fall through. This time though, I feel like I found the perfect car. It's a gray 2012 Toyota Camry XLE with cloud-soft leather heated seats, a moon roof, and wood grain accents that look super sharp. Its also got a back-up camera, a touch-screen navigation system, a keyless button ignition, and a V6 engine (which is quite uncommon for cars like this to have). This is my first car and I feel blessed to have such a nice one along with a reliable model like a Camry. The previous owners took very good care of it, so I hope it will last me for a few years at least.

My most prized possession would probably be my Rustie doll, Champagne. She's 42 inches or 3.5 feet tall, so she comes up to my chest. I've collected dolls since I was a child and I have many that I love, but she almost feels like she has a personality at times. We've been through a lot together, she and I.

I think I would have to pick my sewing machine. I don’t have a super fancy sewing machine by any means but it’s mine and I love it. I found it a few years ago at a thrift store and recognized the name so I decided to buy it on a whim. I’d always wanted to learn to sew but was deterred from it due to bad home-ec sewing classes in school 😅 but when I saw this machine and the price I figured, why not?

I didn’t touch it for the first year I had it, honestly. I tried to sew with it but I couldn’t get the tension right - probably because it had been in the thrift store with people turning all the knobs, lol. Eventually I Googled the manual and that helped a ton! I started properly sewing with it last year and while I’m still not very good I have finished a few items with my latest ones actually being wearable! I find sewing is something I enjoy and it makes me feel good when I finish a project.

I do also have a little Bernina which I love as well b u t vintage Bernina presser feet are harder to find and they’re expensive. I’m hoping to at least find a zipper foot for it (although a buttonhole foot would also be lovely) so that I could use it to finish a whole project instead of having to switch to my Janome.

*this is not my picture, I grabbed it off of Google! This is my machine though. It has a little table too to give you more sewing surface space.

Eventually I’d love to get one of those fancy computerized machines but my first goal is getting a serger 💕 then my sewing seams will look so much more professional! The only thing my Janome is really missing is a drop in bobbin so I can see when I’m running low and I’d prefer a reverse switch vs that little lever that I have to be holding down to sew in reverse.

I would probably say my plant collection? I own about 55 house plants, common and more uncommon ones and they are my pride and joy. Most of them I grew from tiny cuttings and they are now so large and lush and bushy! Since I have so many all over the place I don't have a nice picture with all of them in it... I'm especially proud of them because I used to be terrible with plants. Everyone else in my family seemed to have a green thumb except me. Now I'd say I'm very knowledgeable about their care and some family members and most of my friends come to me for plant advice :')

i thiiiiiink at the moment i'd say my proudest possessions are my copies of pokemon heart gold & soul silver, because i have the full metallic box sets for them (including the preorder figurines). all they're missing are the pedometers & they're worth quite a pretty penny, apparently.

Okay, whew. I‘m having a TON of anxiety over this, and to be honest it’s probably not something I should even be sharing, but there is nothing in the world that beats this for me.

I received this when I was only 14 years old, and still have it 10 years later. It is the single greatest treasure that I will ever have in my life. It marks the year I made a vow never to drink alcohol, even when I become an adult, something I’ve stuck to through now. It marks the best year of my life, memories I will never forget. It inspires me to be a better person, to be a light for others whenever I can. If you know who this is, kudos to you. :)

Jack skeleton candy jar that I got for "free" with my points in a manga and collectibles store. Also an old candy/fruit bowl that belonged to my great great grandma and other antiquities, like old books with notes of my great great grandma and her daughter (my great grandma). And some early works of mangaka or cartoonists before they were popular.

One of my many old books. My 1917 copy of "Fifes and Drums" by The Vigilantes (the WWI organization I research) is certainly among them. In terms of personal attachment, my Gameboy Color game "Super Mario Bros Deluxe". It was one of my first ever games and I adore it utterly.
