What Island Map will you choose?

I found this complication of the maps seen in different trailers and directs on reddit. Which of them would you choose. I definitely want one with a west outlet, probably #13 or #19

I was thinking about posting this same question! I'm still not too sure, but I'm thinking maybe 18. Although 19 looks very good! I think I'm leaning more towards the east outlet for some reason, but I'm loving that island on 19.

We can build the waterfalls right? Does that mean the outlets don't matter as much?

#24 is looking pretty good though

None of those really appeal to me, unfortunately.

I think I'd be happiest with 9, but I just want my residential area somewhat in the middle. Most of the rest can be changed anyway.

At least want one river exiting south, so 18, 23, or 24.

I saw somewhere where people were speculating we can change the river mouths, but we won’t know till the game comes out

I’m honestly not sure yet—many of them look good, but it all comes down to what my planned layout is. I think I’m going to make some of the more major decisions this weekend and then see what setup would work best for that!

The one thing I’m fairly confident on is not having two rivers exiting to the south. My preference for the east or west river mouth keeps flip-flopping though >.<‘

none of them are quiite clicking with me when it comes to resident services placement - and if that's something you cant move later on, i definitely wanna be happy with the placement!

#1 is probably the closest! definitely would wanna add way more cliffs and change the river layout tho o77

And we're both flip-flopping on the east/west decision, lol. I think I also need to sit down and really think about where I want to put things. I think 19 has really interesting cliffs and it looks like maybe two heart shaped ponds.

What I want is a map that isn't too much divided due to messy or enormous rivers, but still a nice amount of river that will help when fishing.

I will pick the best I can at start, and hope terraforming will allow me to further get things to my liking.

That is a lot of river mouths. I'd probably go with 4, 17, or 19. That little patch of land surrounded by rivers in 19 could be turned into a cute little area.

I like 7 and 19 the most. I am planning to make a little island in the middle of a lake for me and a villanger I like and have a special spot for both of us

I would choose map 10, 'cause it reminds me of my old New Leaf town and I like the river the most here.

Alternative, map 3 would work too.
