What new animal species do you think will be added, if any?

We have yet to see any new villagers appear in the trailers and we don't yet know if there will be any, but do you think there will be new species added? If so, what animals are you looking forward to seeing? Or do you simply want more villagers of a current species?

I'd like to see some of the NPC only species extend to villagers, so we can have Beaver villagers, Giraffes, etc!

Also, not a new species, but I'd love a smug cat. I don't care if they take an existing character and change his personality to smug or create a new character, I just want one. It's the one thing missing from my current NL all-cat town. I used Lionel to have a smug villager because, well, at least a lion is a feline.

I hope not. I just hope they bring back all the previous characters from previous games. That's adding about 70 characters on top of all of the ones that were in Welcome Amiibo. Focus on bringing the list up to speed before bringing in new ones.
