What new animal species do you think will be added, if any?

I was thinking of Red Pandas too! Have a feeling they may be added as an NPC but it'd be so cute nonetheless!

The only species I would really love to see getting added are bats. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind seeing an expansion of already existing species, adding some of the missing personalities like an uchi wolf or smug cat for example.

Platypuses would be sooo cute!!!! Also spiders would actually be so cool!!

I'd like to see some new species while also expanding on the currently available ones. Platypus sounds like a cool one to add, same with turtles. I can't imagine spider, snake, bug or shark villagers, but who knows, maybe it'll make sense once they're made and added to the game, like otcopus villagers.

Personally, I'd like to see fox, chinchilla, dinosaur (won't make sense either) or beavers that aren't just npcs. Or mythological creatures like tsuchinoko (if snakes are added).

I would love to see sharks and I want to be a mermaid. Also more mythical creatures yes!!! - I agree with that comment! If they're adding a Dodo, that means animals that are no longer can also be added since this has set the standard

Other things I would like to see but would probably just end up being special villagers are armadillo, different breeds of dogs (as neighbors!!) and things mentioned above, like bats. It would be cute if some animals (like most bats) and even some of the existing animals (like maybe a handful of cats or wolves) would be considered nocturnal, and have a different sleep schedule than normal.

I think that they might add lizards as an animal. It would also fit well with the tropical island theme that the game will have. Maybe they'd lock similar to Nat?

I think villagers are the best part of any AC game and it would be cool to see some new species, but I'm good either way. Honestly, I don't think they'll be introducing new villagers, but it could still happen. We'll see!

the more villagers the better! as someone whose been playing animal crossing since wild world i've already had every villager possible in the town haha
