What to know about a Hax

OM*G. Nothing effects your effin' game, you can't even sell blue light sabers. because there's physically no way to hold 1.75 mil bells in your inventory. /topic close

I read the Gamefaqs info about the DLC/HDLC that ParaLust mentioned. Does that mean that just visiting their town adds the HDLC "code"(for lack of a better word) to my game, taking up DLC space? or do I have to had actually pic it up to effect me? (I know I said I was done asking Qs, but whatever lol)

As far as I read (been reading on more site about it)
Bassicly they al say the same: when you connect withsome one that has a HDLC (going to a town with that item ; Receive a letter with that item ; have someone visit you with that item) the data will be send, so the HDLC WILL take up their respective slots

These are the codeslots they use:
ShinyBluePikmin: $CA00
RedLightSabreV1: $CA04
BlueLightSabreV1: $CA08

which doesn't appear much of problem, till Nintendo decides to release a DLC on one of those slots, (meaning if you encounterd the HDLC, the spot is taing and the DLC data can't be received.

Don't think that will be going to happen, the word about HDLC is spreading rapidly, no doubt the peeps at Nintendo will hear about it, and either develop a patch, or avoid those spots when adding new DLC

Sorry for the Double Post but:

<big>Nintendo Knows About It!</big>

So now it's just wait and see what Nintendo will do about it

Whether they physically mess up your game or not, it's still pretty lame to use them. They *will* mess it up in the sense that you are playing the game outside of its economy. The game is based on that, so you'll eventually find that the game gets pointless if you can get all of your items for free.

Lol. You name is purple now. Banana trees? But Hacks do NOT affect your game exept a Blue light saber, a red light saber, and a Shiny Blue Pikmin.

Exactly. What's the point of hacking items, (for the sake of *censored.3.0*ing PETE!) They'll either ruin your game or make the experience suck.

I wouldn't hack the game ever, but I wondering if my interaction with people on the site would accidentally add hack code to my game. From what most people are saying, it probably already has....

you guys are so stupid...

one way or another you WILL get tired of the game

Sad but true.

But what it's about is, that the Hacked items spread like the plague. The items write themselfs into a slot that is reserved for later DLC. The problem You don't have to use them, for them to write themself into you data all it takes is a encounter with someone that posesses one of the Items

here's a fun fact:

did you know you can take out the saved data by hacking? otherwise it's impossible to take it out :D

that i actuallly knew whitout reading resetti loads of sites . :gyroiddance: I feel smart

But that does as a vacuum cleaner does [/end creative cencor ship]

so if nintendo is smart and doesn't want to created future glitches, they should avoid using those slots like the plague (luckily there are more then a thouzand slots, and the game only allows 254 (can be off by a few bad memory) slots to bge in use.
So unless there is going to be a massiv item hack wave, there is not much to worry about. yeah I'm trying the possitive aprouch for a change, it feels weird

Can't that kind of hacking cause even more problems (especially if you don't know what your doing)?
