Why? I (or a family member) have owned most of the DS's and home consoles. My family grew up with video games. Yet, out of all of the choices...My favorite console would definitely be the GameCube! While it was released 3 years before I was born, it was the first console I ever played video games on, back when I was around 4. It also is the platform for which my two favorite games of all time were released, Super Mario Sunshine and Paper Mario: the Thousand year Door! So yes, the GameCube is definitely my favorite (although the Switch is pretty cool!) So, what's yours?

Sega Megadrive.

I had a LOT of fun on that.

Streets Of Rage, Sonic, Earthworm Jim, Road Rash.

Good times.

PlayStation 2, even tho it's not my first console lmfao
alot of good games was on It & i still like it till this day

I'll always have a thing for the Gamecube. Mario party 4 and Monkey Ball were my favourites to play

i can't decide between the 3ds and the wii. i got both right as they came out. for the 3ds- ive had it since 2011, and ive grown up with it. i still only use my first one! theres just so much to do on the 3ds, and i really like the portability (so i can play it lying down in bed). on the other hand, playing the wii is some of my first memories, and some of my favorite games like ssbb and super mario galaxy 2 are for the wii.

The Switch. Even though I grew up with all of Nintendo?s other consoles, I still think the Switch reign supreme. Imo it?s the perfect balance between handheld and home console and all of the games are great so far

That's a hard one to say...I've had a lot of good memories w/ several consoles. Gonna need time to think on it.

My favorite console is the Gamecube. It has a lot of my favorite games on it and it has the best Nintendo controllers. Most of the other Nintendo controllers are weird / uncomfortable. I also like the PS4 and the 3DS. The PS4 has beautiful graphics and the 3DS has a lot of fun games you can travel with.

When it comes to the game library and controller, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System is my pick.

Although that some popular genres are missing on the system, it has a well-rounded library of 2D games that stood the test of time. Even more so if you import Super Famicom games, with its many, many non-localized RPGs with their intriguing gameplay styles.

The SNES controller is arguably an excellent one in my opinion. You've got a choice of the multicolored ABYX buttons of the European SNES / Super Famicom for quicker button spotting, or the American's better tactile feedback thanks to the Y and X buttons being concave. Its button layout suits to a wide variety of games available on the system. although not ideal for prolonged gaming sessions if you have tendency to clench your fists hard on the rather thin controller.

This is honestly such a hard question. Most of my childhood was spent on the SNES, and there are so many great games on that console - but I also played countless hours of Gamecube with my brother and have some great memories of that. I also loved the original DS and obviously the 3DS - and now I totally love the Switch.

I think if I HAD to choose... it's a tie between the SNES and the Gamecube. I really can't pick just one.

Definitely the Wii!! It was one of my first ever consoles, and it practically raised me. Mario Kart Wii and Super Mario Galaxy were my favourite, and Super Mario Galaxy was the first video game I ever beat. I also have tons of fun memories playing Wii Sports! I had TONS of games for it, including the Littlest Pet Shop game and that one stupid Disney Princess game.

I would definitely have to say the wii! It's probably the console I have the most memories on, and is one of the consoles that I had pretty much from the start! Also had some of my favourite games that I still enjoy playing today (like Mario Kart Wii and City Folk), so that puts it above the rest for me!

Probably the 3DS, but I feel the Switch will over take it in a year or 2 depending on my most anticipated games.

Gameboy Advance I'll say. Probably the console I spent most time on and it had lots of great games and memories.

There is no way I could ever pick a favorite.

I still actively play on every console I've ever had from my NES to my Switch and every Sega and PlayStation in between. Heck, I still carry my GameBoy Color with me everywhere I go.

Although the Nintendo 64 and GameCube have been my favorites over time, the Nintendo Switch is the new champion. You can play it anywhere, or on just one big TV. And the library (so far) is better than the WiiU's and Wii's.

Honestly, I've had so many Nintendo Consoles, but the Nintendo Switch does everything for me, with the Nintendo DS Lite just a few steps behind. I have been obsessed with all my consoles, but never as much as the Switch. It's building up quite a strong library, and the portable and home-console aspect of it is really quite convenient. I look forward to it every weekend :)

Probably the N64. Perfect local multiplayer games for that era. 2nd favorite is probably the PS2.
