The nintendo line of handhelds starting back from the gameboy advanced sp which was my first console the first gsmes i had on it was Shrek 2 and Spongebob squarepants: battle for bikini bottom...mom got it for me after i bothered someone eles ds...i believe they were playing crash bandicoot...one of the gba games...anyway i also played my brothers extra copy of silver...introducing me ti the franchise...well i probably known pokemon before that but this was the game i played first...but i didnt know what i was doing at the time and besides ruby sapphire and emerald were out at the time...maybe possibly Firered and leaf green. He probably didnt let me play those since he had a gameboy of his own...but my first offical playthrough of a Pokemon game was pearl... I picked chimchar...ahhh such memories
I loved the portability, I loved how the console itself felt (espeacially the buttons), I loved the games, I loved the colorful pixel art that was in style at the time. It was amazing
Advance Wars, Minish Cap, Mother 3, Pokemon Sapphire, Fire Emblem, Golden Sun...man, it was a hell of a console
Late Nintendo 64 through Gamecube was when Nintendo was at the top of their game. I typically say the GCN is my overall favorite, but there are so many games I love on the N64, as well.
I think it's pretty close between N64 and Gamecube, I love games like Smash 64 and Paper Mario, but I like Melee and TTYD more tbh. I prefer Mario 64 to sunshine though, so idk.
I'm not sure if we are counting handhelds as consoles or not, because if that's the case, 3DS. But if not, probably the SNES, it has very nostalgic vibes for me and has a lot of really fun titles.
Definitely Nintendo Switch; it's honestly a super fun system and I love them games that are out for it, especially remakes of old games like Skyrim, Donkey Kong Country, and soon Crash Bandicoot! Gamecube is probably a close second, but Switch is undoubtedly my favorite.
That's tough, my family had almost every console growing up. The SNES was the first console I played and my family and I spent a lot of time playing together, the SNES was pretty much my childhood. The Gamecube was the first console that was "mine". My parents even got me a little tv so I could play in my room, which was a big deal. My brother was a Playstation kid so I'd watch him play all his games, we never talked or hung out much, so it was our bonding time I guess haha. My husband got me into Xbox and we play games together (and I got him into Nintendo). But I think my favorite, at least to play now, is the 3ds. I love it's portability and I take it with me to work. I'd never take my Switch with me. Nintendo is definitely my favorite, and I think the 3ds is my favorite system.
Hm, I would say the Nintendo GameCube. Many of my favorite games are GameCube games and I spent
lots and lots of hours with that console back when I was younger. It's in general a cool console if you I
ask me. So, yeah...
I also like the Wii and 3DS a lot. The Switch is nice too, even if I don't own one, lol.
Gameboy Advance. Love that thing, still regularly play on it.
The Switch may surpass it though, I am loving it so far. Just need to get a new Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem first. Maybe some Switch Wars and a Golden Sun too.
