What type of mailbox do you have?

None of the above - I'm sticking with the default one until I can afford the largest.

Also, why is the purple one always not in stock?

I have the standard mailbox as I don't believe in buying larger mailboxes when some forums give you more space naturally...

I have the Gold mailbox. I only upgraded it because I knew I'd have a lot of PM's when I hosted a mafia game a couple of years ago. In hindsight I didn't need to get such a big mailbox as I clear it out fairly often.

one where i have to walk to an area near my place where a bunch of other mailboxes are all grouped together and use a specific key to get into

it only holds standard mail and really small packages though. so anything else (if I don't have to sign for it) just shows up at my door or in a separate grouping of mailboxes specifically for larger packages, where there will be a key for the specific unit containing the package(s) in my own mailbox)
