What villager do you feel is overrated?

I personally don't like Judy that much. She's cute but I don't understand the hype. Of course this is just my opinion and if you like her that's fine.

i actually don’t think any villager is overrated, really. sure, there are a few popular villagers that i personally don’t care for as much as others do, but i don’t think that makes those villagers overrated. some villagers are just more popular than others, and that’s fine!

that being said, despite having him on my island months ago and liking him a lot, i still don’t really completely understand the hype for raymond. like, he’s very cute and i definitely like him more now than i did prior to having him, but i still can’t believe how much he went for during new horizons’ first year, nor do i really understand the appeal of putting him in clothes like the maid dress lmao. he’s a great villager, though.

i feel you about judy, too. she’s definitely very cute and i like her design, but i don’t quite understand her hype, either. villagers with galaxy/space-inspired designs seem to do well in terms of popularity, though (ex. ione). maybe i’ll feel a bit differently about her once i have her on my island, too haha.

No offense but I personally dislike Zucker and I think he's overrated. If you like Zucker, I respect you don't worry ^^

For me, it would be Bob, Coco, and Marshal. They're cute-- I don't dislike them --but not worth the hype they get imo.

Raymond, he's not ugly but I don't see the appeal, I think there are other cat villagers cuter than him.
I thanks Nintendo for putting him in the game though just for how insane people were acting trying to get him on their islands, that was so fun to watch omg. I kind of miss that, that was the time I had the most fun with ACNH and I didn't even had the game back then,

Don't get me wrong, I really do like Raymond and he grew on me after getting him as my first camper. He appeals to me mostly because he's grey. But the Raymond hype was over the top. I would have to say that yes he's a good villager and I wish he had a different name for personal reasons, but he isn't THAT good which puts him in the over rated category for me.

Back in 2020 it used to be Raymond and by the end of 2021 when the 2.0 update came out people were obsessed with Sasha and Shino. I don't find anything wrong with them, but it just became annoying when people seem to talk more about those villagers I mentioned and not really give other villagers a chance.

Definitely either Raymond or Marshal (I love him and have him on my island so no hate here), they’re cute so I get it, but I’m not much of a fan of the office house look for Raymond so maybe that’s why I never understood the glamour about him.

At this rate definitely Bob. Like I love his junkie eyes and whole speed weed look but also, 50 shades of purple basic at, nah. They could have added that to Shep or just made a better hippie.

And yeah I don't really get the deal with all the new villager with 2.0 NH release and especially Sasha..not a fan of most rabbits so.
