What Villagers Are Your Unexpected Favorites?

I've talked about it before in other NH threads, but there's just something about Patty for me...

She's so adorable! I never knew a cow villager would grow so much on me. I got her as one of the first five villagers on my main island back when the game came out, and I kinda wanted someone else instead at first. When I started getting dresses from balloons, I had no use for them (I'm a guy), so I would just gift them to my female villagers. I then started to realize that some of the outfits I'd create for Patty would look very pretty on her, and I just sort of kept her on my island long-term. Needless to say, she's now the longest-tenured (and last remaining random) villager on Wahu, and I'm too emotionally attached to let her go now.

And I don't know why I remember this, but I played NH every single day for a year after the game came out, and Patty waited about 296 or so real-life days until first asking me to move away. When that happened, I basically told her in my mind, "No way José, you're critical to my island, ya ain't goin' anywhere bub." Keep in mind that I have not time travelled on Wahu at all.

I also got Coco randomly around the same time, and she lasted over three years as well until a few months ago when I decided to replace her with Caroline.

Croque for sure; I hadn't realized he existed in New Leaf. Same with Biff! Neither of them are on my island but I still really like them.

absolutely never expected to love stu or drift as much as i do! i'm not a frog or a bull fan either in AC or in RL and so liking them and having them on my island has been so fun!! their designs are just so great and sweet!

I've seen a comic about Canberra coming to a new island and not being cute enough. The islander tried his best to make her move out, being very mean. I know it's just drawing but I felt really sad. So I like this little koala.
Rocket is the second one. Took time to choose a Sisterly villager. I saw her, two, three times, nothing happened. I finally chose her. I don't regret. She's cute and I like her a lot! She is not one of my dreamies.
