Pokémon What was your first HATCHED shiny?

Mine was an Eevee. And this was before I got the shiny charm, and without the help of the Masuda Method.

Cottonee. Something I don't even care about. I was hatching a Cottonee for someone else, so I wasn't trying to get it.

I was breeding and hatching Passimians because I heard people trade really good stuff for them on the GTS, and the very first egg Passimian that I hatched was a shiny..

Cleffa in Crystal. :b I wouldn't hatch another shiny until years & years later, a random Oshawott in Black.. Lol

That would be my shiny Mareep that I hatched in X! It took somewhere between 8 and 10 boxes, so... 240-300 eggs. No shiny charm (I don't think I even had the Oval Charm at the time).

Shiny Mega Ampharos is truly great :)

Shortly after I got my shiny charm in Alpha Sapphire I tested it out and got a shiny bagon within 30 eggs. Haven’t gotten that lucky since...

Never hatched a shiny. I'm telling you, I trained competitive teams for around a year, and before that, bred to trade. Usually, I'd have a Japanese ditto that I still have somewhere, and whoever the parent is. My system has always been a box-full of pokemon before i move to the next.

Shinies.

To be honest, it has been so many years and I've bred so many shinies since that I don't remember which was first. There are a few possibilities, but I can't point at one in particular and be certain: Ponyta, Cacnea, or Tepig.

I know Ponyta and Cacnea were some of my earlier shinies and I went for them in particular because I found Ponyta's blue flames nice looking (it's a shame that Rapidash's become grey) and because, in Generation 5 when I was doing all of my shiny breeding for the first time, Cacnea was the closest thing we had to a jack-o'-lantern at the time with its orange shiny coloration.

The other option, Tepig, was accidental. I had been hunting for Porygon because I really like the shiny coloration for the Porygon evolutionary line, but I took the Porygon out of the Day Care so I could quickly breed a Tepig for somebody and literally the first egg that came from that was shiny. That was pretty annoying at the time, and even moreso because it inherited the Modest nature from the Japanese Ditto I was using. I'm fine with it nowadays though, as I like Emboar's blue flames and with the addition of Bottle Caps in Sun & Moon I can just raise it as an unorthodox special attacker for in-game use. It's currently still unevolved, level 1.

I can say definitively that the first shiny I ever encountered, not including the Red Gyarados from Lake of Rage, was a shiny Gligar in HeartGold that I evolved into Gliscor. I worked hard to earn the Razor Fang to evolve that Gligar into Gliscor and initially named it Diego (since it the blue and yellow coloration made me think of the San Diego Chargers football team from the NFL), though I changed his name to Harbinger (named after the Reaper from Mass Effect 2 and in reference to the definition of harbinger, a sign of things to come). Finding that Gligar/Gliscor is what got me interested in acquring more shinies and I chose the Masuda Method as my hunting method ever since, since you can customize the Pok?mon to your liking with nature, ability, egg moves, and stats as opposed to finding them in the wild and mostly leaving things up to chance.

Mine was a Shiny Charmander :) I don't know how many eggs it took to hatch, but it took many eggs... So worth it though!

My first hatched shiny was Daedalus the green Zubat back on White. He only took a couple hundred eggs, which was a pleasant surprise. I remember him hatching during Calculus class near the end of the semester. It was a break day of sorts, so a couple of us were playing Pokemon.

He's now a part of my main team as a Crobat. My friends fear the pink bat of doom. xD

Shinies.

Wow man.. but yeah I don't think I ever hatched a shiny either. Even with the charms and all.

I did hatch a shiny eevee but it was from a pokemon fangame...
Found a shiny pichu from the SOS method in pokemon sun! Still thinking if i should evolve it into a alolan raichu.

I've never hatched a shiny pokemon before~
To be honest all the shiny methods still confuse me a bit. And I'm not really interested in shiny egg hunting, I'd rather SOS even though that can also be tedious. Yet I find all my shinies this way.
I wouldn't mind trying the matsuda method (I think that's what it's called) in which two pokemon from different language games breed together~? But i'm only willing to do that if they have good stats or any egg moves I'm interested in.
