What was your opinion of Jetix?

Pucca and Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go were big faves of mine, but I stopped watching the former because I was on a policy that any episode that scared me would turn me off the rest of the show. Feud Fight was one such episode, where it suddenly rained in Sooga City, making everyone into depression-fueled zombies. I think even the bald guy with the little boy's voice had his sword flop like some sort of erectile dysfunction and Abyo failed to destroy his shirt with his bare hands (which is something he ritualistically does in other episodes). I think only the eponymous silent Yandere was immune, and she had to consult Santa Claus (weird how Santa, an American pop culture icon, would turn up in a show from South Korea, let alone one where everyone looks all chibi-like).

It was not on my radar at all.

I remember that it was a thing...but, I was already at an age where most of the stuff on there wasn't really what I was looking to watch. If I was watching cartoons in 2009, I was probably watching Adult Swim...or even the vanilla Cartoon Network/Nickelodeon.

Personally I never really watched it at all, but I do remember watching Sonic X one time and not really liking it :/. I preferred the main Disney Channel instead of Playhouse Disney or Toon Disney/Jetix/XD.

I watched Sonic X other ways and like.... that’s bringing back a whole new level of internet cringe XD

I'm from Spain, here we had a version of the channel too and we could watch it through a cable tv subscription, I loved that channel as a kid honestly and watched some of my favourite shows there! It also had a few anime there which was pretty cool, but then again where I live we also had anime in public television lmao

I used to watch Jetix a lot as a kid! We had Sky (the UK equivalent to cable TV I think?) and it was included as one of the channels. Looking back on it now though, like a lot of people, all I can remember watching on Jetix was Sonic X.

Jetix was seriously the best channel I got to experience as a kid! In my home country, it first came in about 2005 (it got replaced with Disney XD in about 2010, sadly), and I always watched a plethora of amazing shows there:

• Sonic X;
• Pucca;
• Yin Yang Yo;
• Shuriken School;
• Planet Sketch;
• Pokémon (mainly the Advanced Generation episodes);
• Atomic Betty;
• Skunk Fu;
• Ernst, Bobbie en de rest (literally Ernst, Bobbie and the others) (a Dutch live-action comedy-esque show with occasional cartoon SFX and very iconic Midi sequence songs, as well as the very iconic word "soepkip" (literally "soup chicken", and used in a similar way to "silly goose"))

and most likely dozens more, too

I only watched Jetix for Sonic X, and maybe Digimon...I barely remember anything else. I think at the time I was more into anime and got real into Toonami until it got taken by Adult Swim.
