Plants absolutely everywhere. A small altar table in one of the corners of the room. Maybe a space dedicated to making art, unless I had a separate room to use specifically as a studio. A big, oddly shaped bed, in the corner. Probably the shape of a circle, or a quarter slice of pie- so many pillows and blankets, easy to just nuzzle right into. Maybe a tapestry or two on the walls, but more likely art from my favorite creators. Little sun catchers and paper aninals hanging from the ceiling, casting rainbows and shadows everywhere. A window nook seat with the pillow bench, so I can sit in the window and read, or watch the rain/snow/what have you fall down. I want rhe windows to have clasps, and swing outwards from the inside, so that I can hear the rain, smell the sounds of the (hopefully) forest around me. My tv hoisted on a swivel holder in the wall, or on top of a giant bookshelf entertainment center, to hold all of my books, dvds, anime collections, and video games/gaming consoles. Little macabre goodies scattered about, along with some of my odds and ends, like my collection of miniature things. A bunch of cool lamps, like my Mushroom Lamp. And of course, an area for all of my Studio Ghibli goodies. Maybe a dark carpet for the flooring, or a gray wash hardwood. The walls either made of dark oak wood, lined with wood panels, or painted a mix of light and dark colors- either wine red, a gray-blue color, or a very very light icy blue. Antique chests for goodies. All my Magick stuff in designated areas. Maybe one of those neat basket chairs that hangs down from the ceiling, but I’d probably out that elsewhere in the house. And of course, plenty of space to not feel claustrophobic, but small enough to be cozy. I wouldn’t want a huge room. I’d say 300sq feet or so would be perfect, maybe smaller. Overall, a place I can feel comfort in, escape from the world, and detune after bad days/mental health days.
