What's a new villager species you would love to see?

I know this is too niche and probably ridiculous, but now that I have seen Wardell I want manatee villagers. I would love some manatees to join my hamster crew and live on my island with me.

I've seen some super adorable fan art of bat villagers that people have made up over the years, and I love bats. I would definitely want bats on my island if I could have them.

After I posted, I thought about the playing animation that the villagers do in NH, where they run around with their arms out. Wouldn't it be so cute to see bat villagers do that, and they'd have their wings visible?

Lizards, giraffes, tortoises, owls - I really hate how for a lot of species there's a special character and that's it. Give me villager options!

Bats for a completely new species not done in the series yet.

I'd also be interested in a snake villager but it might be hard to design. Maybe they could use their tail as an arm for holding things like a net...but that would make their walking animation a little off. Maybe a snake is the perfect species for a special character only instead actually.

I would appreciate more reptiles. There are so many birds and mammals, but only one type of reptile. Alligators also have to be one of the worst choices among all reptiles for cute anthropomorphic critters. I think Geckos, Skink, or Chameleons would all be better options.
Newts/Axolotls, while technically amphibians, are lizard-looking enough that I would appreciate them as well, and I just love the external, feathery gills on Axolotl.

Also I think some dinosaurs would be neat.. but maybe a tad odd... With blathers and all. But I mean just imagine a stegasaurous or triceratops villager? Or a colorful smug raptor.
O o maybe one of those bird dinosaur looking creatures (no idea what they are called )
Maybe more lizard options beyond gators and dragons and flick lol? Could expand on dragons really.

I think a dinosaur could work as a "subspecies" in a new lizard villager category. Like how there is a peacock and a flamingo already but technically ostriches.

Lambs. I love the sheep, but a small sheep would be cute. There's big bears and cubs, so why not? Kittens like Katie, too.

Turtles would be awesome.

Skunks, raccoons, and hedgehogs would be nice to see as well.

That's what I was thinking too! I would love to see a walrus/manatee species all with with different faces and colours. I would 100% invite them to my island.
