What’s a song that resonates with your life?

I chose this song because.. most of my friends alongside myself deal with depression and other problems. I know no one is alone in this world. Absolutely no one. And even if we feel that way sometimes, we have people to fall back on in times of need. I will always be there for my friends when they need a shoulder to cry on or someone to vent to. I am like this because I know how it feels to feel alone. I do not want others to be left alone in the dark, because I believe no one should have to go through that by themselves. Even if I've been treated wrongly in the past and I never had the best support system (or one at all sometimes), that doesn't mean I should turn a blind eye and ignore people in times of need. You are never alone. If you're reading this, regardless of how much we know each other, just remember you've got me, at the very least.

Before I met my current boyfriend it was this song:

I always struggled with finding a relationship and often felt lonely and/or lost and this song helped me not give up hope. I guess you could that my now boyfriend is/was my somebody.

As a bonus 80’s classic rock is my favourite music genre which this song fits into. The band is also Canadian which isn’t overly common and I’m Canadian myself. So this song is pretty important to me.

Mine's called the Mistery of the Planet, by a brazilian band I love called Novos Baianos. They used to make an unique mix of samba and rock. This song is my foverite of theirs because of the lyrics, no one has a clean answer on what it's going for but I feel it's a reflection on life. Here's my favorite part translated by me
