For me it would be:
Splatoon - So this is kind of a complicated matter for me. I do actually love Splatoon and have played the game, both multiplayer and solo, and as someone who is solely a single-player person I actually PREFER the multiplayer stuff cause it's so fun
What starts to turn it off for me is how freaking OVERZEALOUS the community is. All my friends have the game, have been playing since the beginning, bought Splat3 day one and pretty much play it nonstop, all while constantly giving me crap for not having it (cause how dare I ) and refuse to acknowledge any other games to play and leave me out. I jumped in around Splat2 and only have that game, and while I do enjoy it, I DON'T enjoy the fans being low-key bossy and rude about me not letting it consume my life like it has theirs apparently. Needless to say, I've been putting off getting Splat3 cause the more people tell me what to do, the less likely I am to do it lol
Zelda - This is a game series that I only recently got to playing in my adulthood and never touched it as a kid, the big reason being I'm just really REALLY not into high fantasy settings (I much prefer sci-fi); elves, fairies, dragons, potions, etc. just not my thing lol
The first Zelda game I ever played was Skyward Sword; it was.... fine. I do realize that SS is considered by fans to be a weakier entry in the series, so I'm more than willing to keep trying other games. So far I have Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, and Breath of the Wild, all acclaimed by everyone so here's to hoping it does something for me! Also very interested in trying out Majora's Mask as I love the darker creepier tone
Fortnite - Ok low hanging fruit popular game to complain about, but it's true! Maybe I'm just too old and uncool to understand it lol but as I said before I'm way more into a single-player experience so just not for me
Pokémon - So don't get me wrong, I grew up with Pokémon during the 90's when it was pretty much at the highest peak of it's popularity and everyone was into it; I played the games (Gold), collected and traded the trading cards, watched the anime/movies, bought all the Pokémon branded foods and whatnot (Pokémon Pop-Tarts NEED to come back), I pretty much love this franchise by default LOL
BUT I have 4 games for it total; Gold, HeartGold, SoulSilver, and Sword, and I've never gotten the urge to buy the rest. It's pretty much the same problem others have with it; it's just more of the same. If people enjoy it then more power to them! But I personally just can't understand buying it over and over again
The ONLY other game I've ever been slightly tempted into getting was Scarlet/Violet, but due to the controversy of the performance of the game + the uncertainty if GameFreak will supply it with a meaningful number of updates/patches just reallyyyy sours it for me
Smash Bros. - Again, boils down to the fact that I'm just more of a single-player mindset + the overzealous toxic community; I like to play it casually with friends/family but don't expect me to sink hours of my life into this thing just because you tell me to
