I finished Hookah Haze. As someone who is a big fan of Va-11 Hall-A, I thought this game would be just as good and it fell so short of my expectations. The sprite scaling was super blurry, it was too short and the ending was super abrupt. I have no idea why it has like 92% positive reviews on Steam.
I recently played The Outer Wilds 57 years after everyone else. My god this game is a pure masterpiece. If you have not played it yet, I can only recommend it, but DON'T get spoiled as it ruins the entire experience.
I don't even know where to begin but it redefined my views on gaming! What a wonderful piece of art this game is.
The DLC is equally as amazing, although a bit too scare for me, even with the fright mode on!

I beat echoes of wisdom this past week and I'm almost finished 100%ing it but the dojo is kind of annoying me so I've been working on other stuff. Idk what I'm going to play after that lol.

Finished my playthrough of Rune Factory 3 Special!! I completed the main story with all eleven bachelorettes, and played through all of their Newlywed Mode and Another Episode stories! There were of course some aspects that were a little rougher around the edges, but I really enjoyed the story, and I hope future RF games take cues from how 3 handled its character/heart events! Being able to freely choose when and which ones to do after they unlock was so, so much nicer than 4's RNG-based events, and the inability to walk five feet without triggering a character event in 5 lol
I will say that I wasn't a huge fan of the art direction for the new opening and the animated cutscenes/stills from Newlywed Mode. ;; It didn't match well with the other art in the game imo, and the way the characters were proportioned—with huge heads and tiny arms (but not chibi proportions either)—made them look bizarrely childish, even with the bachelorettes who are supposed to be older. I didn't play the DS version, but I've seen the original opening on Youtube and I would've really loved to see a remastered version of it instead ;u; I think the older song suited the tone of the game more too. And for 3S's Newlywed Mode scenes, I wish they'd stuck with a style similar to the animated cutscenes from 4 or 5.
I liked a lot of the Newlywed Mode stories though! Most of them were pretty sweet and added onto the bachelorettes' stories nicely, although a lot of them were also way grindier than they needed to be. There's not a whole lot to do in Newlywed Mode other than progress the story, so getting held up for full in-game days farming for rare drops, or skipping days just waiting for crops to grow from scratch, was kiiiiinda painful. especially when they put you on a very limited timer too LITERALLY WHY
The Another Episode DLC was very cute though and well worth it imo! I thought the chibi artstyle used there was very charming, and I think the stories did a really good job on expanding on the bachelorettes' romances.
also if RF3 ever gets remade again in the distant future... pls let me romance Ondorus... I am begging

I finished Mouthwashing, a PS1 style horror game. The scares were really well executed and I felt tense throughout the whole thing. The story was good too. It was pretty short, but the story felt complete and satisfying.
