What’s the last game you finished?

I fully completed the original PS1 version of Spyro: Year of the Dragon yet again because, well, 2024 is the year of the dragon! I love that game so much.

Next up is the PS1 version of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. I know I'm working backwards, but I only grew up with the third game and played the first two later on, so there's a bit of preference there. Despite me first playing Ripto's Rage about ten years ago, I gained heavy nostalgia almost immediately, mainly because of the gameplay similarities and its soundtrack. The trilogy overall is simply great.

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on Steam. Mostly started out as me simply setting up my Stadia controller and checking to see if it worked with Steam games, only to get hooked back into SA2:B and end up rolling through the story modes. I want to on/off work on all emblems to finally play the Green Hill Zone level that's in there, but I imagine the Chao mini games will have me stuck for a while.

I technically finished my second playthrough of Pikmin 4 a few days ago, but I 100% completed it today! I ended up completing the game in 18 less days this time around, and also managed to do a deathless run to boot admittedly a lot of rewinding required, rip. I actually enjoyed the game more this time than the previous time I played it, oddly enough. But now my replay of the entire main series games of Pikmin is complete! 🥳

It might have been Fire Emblem Three Hopes, Black Eagles path 🤔. I didn’t do all the paths yet. I had started playing the Golden Deer after that, but never finished it. Now that I mention this, i feel like playing it again and Three Houses 🙂

I just finished the story in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. I started this after giving Scarlet a go (and dropping it quite early on) and, damn, I can't believe this game came first. Why didn't the detail and love that went into this game carry into Scarlet and Violet?

I finished Tunic a week ago! I've been waiting awhile to finally get around to playing it, and I definitely ended up enjoying it a lot!

The original Paper Mario on Nintendo 64

I had never played it before and I absolutely adored it. It’s a bit unfortunate it’s in the shadow of TTYD because PM64 is such a delightful game in its own right

Recently finished playing Devil May Cry 3. Now I gotta finish the story as Vergil. The combo system is insane and the OST is amazing

Finished Pseudoreglia and now it’s among my favorite platformers ever. The atmosphere and player character’s moveset are outstanding. It’s a shame this game is often overlooked for having a niche Nintendo 64 artstyle.

I finished the story in Pokémon Scarlet and its DLC plus the epilogue months ago! It was pretty fun and I consider it my favorite Pokémon game overall. (Yes, this is an unpopular opinion I have!!)

finished the story of bug fables: the everlasting sapling. the characters really grew on me since when i last picked up the game. the final boss fight took me a super hot minute

Bug Fables is one of my absolute favorite video games. And it makes me so happy that people are still discovering and playing it!

I most recently beat Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, the Azure Gleam route.

fatum betula! i really liked the atmosphere that it had and might replay it occasionally in the future. played it on the switch and dropped it and then saw it was on sale for pc, so i grabbed it and decided to actually complete it this time.

phoenix wright ace attorney: trials and tribulations… well let’s just say i don’t like godot anymore (and like dahlia more somehow??)

I finished Pokémon White 2 (main story + postgame) after just about 55 hours! I've had it for a few years now, but this was my first time playing because I'd never actually finished White until just last year and spent an embarrassingly long amount of time thinking that B2W2 were just the definitive versions of BW and not actual proper sequels askfjklsdf. pokémon-wise I was living under a rock for a while ok
I like mainline Pokémon, though they generally aren't my favorites, so I was actually very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this one! It's earned a spot on my keeper shelf for sure.

also this extends to Pokémon BW too, but Gen 5's music was absurdly good?? like all I'm saying is whenever I fought Team Plasma, the earbuds were in
