what's the stupidest thing you've done while overtired?

all of my bad and stupid impulse purchases happen when i am overtired 💔

uhh..... karaoke and alcohol with friends after all of us were absolutely exhausted. was screaming at the microphone at some point, it was fun for everyone since we were all shouting and singing along but damn looking back i think we were only 2 people absolutely washed out among our group of 7 friends. though others ended up pretty drunk too. anyway we all made it home safe (no drunk driving, we all rode the cab) <3

also during one graveyard shift, at 4 AM i was messaging someone thinking he was a junior, was asking him to do stuff for me (i was busy also) and it kinda dawned on me at 6:30 AM that i was, in fact, messaging my senior 😭 the way i IMMEDATELY backpedalled and went "sir i am SO SORRY i did not realize i was texting the wrong person i am. sorry" im glad my senior was nice bc if it was any other senior i think i'd get a whooping from all the other seniors 💀 the hierarchical system at work is brutal

I gave this thread a long thought

I feel like I do most of my stupid clumsy stuff while wide awake and being aloof.

Like getting off a public bus and spotting someone I knew across the street, so I ran across the road inches in front of a truck who gestured and blew his horn.

Not me apparently.

Poured/removed the contents of a container on the counter to use the container, not realizing it's make a huge mess. 😅

i got home last night and tried to unlock the front door with my car keys (pressing the unlock button) and i walked into the shower this morning with my glasses on im down expeditiously

One morning at around 5:30, I put too much weight on my tension-mounted shower rack while grabbing a bottle of conditioner, and the whole thing came tumbling down onto me. Somehow, I wasn't hurt, and it did not wake anyone else in the house, though I was asked about it later that day by my mom.

Once in college I had gone much of the week on little sleep (which was a repeating pattern it was bad lol) and then the weekend came. I went to bed some time at night, I don’t really remember how late it was. I didn’t have to be anywhere in the morning but I set an alarm anyway so I wouldn’t sleep too late. And then… when I woke up, it was dark outside, which could make sense for early morning cuz it was winter. And I looked at my clock and it said 7:00. So I thought I just randomly woke up at 7 AM and should go back to sleep. But then somehow I realized it was not morning, but in fact 7 PM and I had slept like 19+ hours or something insane. My alarm had gone off for the full hour it does before turning itself off, and none of my roommates thought they should check to see if I was okay or anything. I still don’t understand how I slept through a straight hour of super loud alarm clock and then also just kept sleeping that long

I was at a convention and i fell because I was so tired 😅. People around me were really nice, but thinking about it, it was embarrassing.

when sky has a new event and i stay up until reset to check out the iaps, suddenly everything looks so cool to have and i end up spending only to regret it when in the morning when i'm able to think clearly. ;w;''
