This isn't a weird request, but I've just started Roswell's home and he unlocked a Practice Dummy ... It's a CPR dummy lying on the floor in shorts ... That you can customise ... That fact terrifies me as to what people will do with it ...

So many people in this thread snubbing Lionel's love for toilets.

I tried my best to make it look nice, it was a challenge but it was fun. Definitely more fun than all the requests that are kind of similar.

It's hard to make a bathroom house look good, tho I've certainly seen some folks try. I did too actually.

I’m not adding beds to everyone’s, but as soon as I can do 2nd floors, I’ll be returning to those houses to add bedrooms!

Same here. If the theme of the house wanted as a whole for the first floor doesn't seem like it'd fit a bed or anything, I'd make the second room just a full on bedroom.
Now that I think about it, there are a lot of houses with themes that could use that feature (Including Lionel).

I would agree that Lionel's request is definitely the weirdest. There are some others though. Sheldon asks for a place where he could teach everyone about "public safety"... Like what does that even mean

unfortunately apollo lmao, i gave him some chocolate for him to come to the island and he uh requested
to have like a untouched getaway which at first i was like that's cool but then the items he wanted in his house
were outside items like broken pillars and stuff and at least personally i dont like the look of outside items inside a house lol

Tybalt’s bat collection/dugout was fun.

i kind of forgot what i did for this one, but i don't think i completely followed his theme of "bat collection", there was like 1 or 2. lol i'm just realizing it now. i'll try to follow a request next time even if it's weird or i don't get it.

Nope. Redesigns are pretty much free rein from what I can tell. (Though personally, I usually like keeping their overall theme and just add an upstairs or partitioned area as a functional living space. There are so many villagers it gets way too easy to make them look samey after a while.)

I gave Chevre chocolates today and she asked for a vault to "protect the assets" everyone has given her. Seems a little out of character but I've gone with it and she's laundering money for Ankha (who uses her holiday home to stash black market antiquities).

Ha I just had this one today. She may be hideous-looking but she was one of the better villagers to design for because her request was specific and unusual. If anything, this DLC is helping to rehabilitate the image of some of the non-cute/popular villagers

Aside from Lionel's toilet infatuation, Harry wants a place where he can be as messy as he wants, and that was just very, very weird!! Makes the character even more unappealing lolxd. fitting for his appearance tho

I think they intended for you to use other items in your catalog and not the ones in the Order, of course you do need to place down the items that the villagers want to see, but I found out a trick that if you just hide the items it will still work. Although sometimes if you have way too many items in their home they actually say "Its a bit too cluttered" I had that happened to me when I was building a "Bank theme" for Gala.

Mine was also Lionel and his toilets. I couldn't take it seriously so I ended up taking it too seriously.

On one side, golden toilet, fancy vanity, plush waiting seating. On the other, a common sink, regular toilet, and urinal.
