What's Your Approval Rating?

Just curious as to where everyone is at!
I started playing the game around 1:30 AM, went to bed at 3, got up at 9, and have been playing ever since. (I'm EST.)

My approval rating at the time of writing this is 86%, no time travelling. (Not sure what I did, though, LOL.)

How about you guys?

To be honest I don't even know how to get my approval rating. I know that you have to sit in the mayor's chair, but I can't even get behind the counter! Anyone know what I need to do?

Have you been talking to Isabelle? I believe you have to "unlock" the point where you can do the approval rating.

The time for what counts as a new day must be in between 3 am and when you woke up.

I'm afraid I'm not very patient with this game because I've been waiting forever for it. Isabelle keeps telling me that moving is hard work and I need to relax for the rest of the day, but I don't want to!

I believe that because new days in Animal Crossing start at 6am, anyone who got told to 'relax for the rest of the day' before 6am is on there 2nd day, meaning they DID relax for the rest of the day! xD
