Pizza but the good kind, not the frozen crud. There's only 1 pizza brand that I'll eat that's frozen, but every other frozen pizza brand I've tried I have not liked. And I've tried a couple.
Grilled cheese with tomatoe soup is ultimate comfort food, I LOVE grilled cheese. I love cheese, bread is also good, so, BAM, perfect food. I also really love milkshakes, quesadillas, fajitas with lots of lime, fast food onion rings, straight up cheese, home made mac N cheese, and papas rellenas with beef and pork. I uh, need to have variety with foods
I'm not exactly sure why, but I am all about just meats. Any baked or grilled or stewed meat, like chicken, pork, beef, turkey, etc. I just adore it, with a pile of veggies. Maybe I'm just too simple, but you just can't downplay how great it is for you, how gentle it is on your body, and how healthy your output can be on the other side. I've dabbled in keto and paleo diets, and they really are something else. If you all are looking to get healthy or fit, I highly recommend that sort of diet/lifestyle change. It becomes addictive, once you realize the difference in your state of mind and performance.
Now, when I eat things like pizza/pasta, I know I'm indulging, because that food just weighs you down. Even large salads seem to be too bulky.
Eat some lean meats and thank me later!
Ahh one of my top comfort foods is just a simple sandwich. But especially when my mom makes them. On field trips in elementary school she would pack my lunch with a simple sandwich and some fruit or juice but as simple as it is, it's just so comforting to me. It's just bread, mayonnaise, tomatoes, cheese and pan fried hotdog/weiner or how we call it, "salchicha" in Spanish! It's so good but also a Nutella sandwich. I'm not a huge fan of Nutella which is weird yet I really find it comforting because of a memory I shared with it. It's not really a good story as I was crying but my mom made me these in the car and I downed 2 whole sandwiches of these in one sitting. I was like 5 at the time yet still a memory engraved in my mind. Just really wanna thank my mom~
Also I know this is already pretty long but I also find eating food while crying is comforting. Is that just me? I had this conversation with my sister and we both agreed what do you guys think?

Me, busting in this thread 4 months late with Starbucks in my hand: and I oop—
Jokes aside, if the food I am eating is a comfort food while I’m crying, I can relate. Most of the time if I’m crying, I actually have a harder time eating even if it’s comfort food
My mum's shepherd's pie, chilli, corned beef hash, or risotto! Other than that, biscuits and coffee always cheer me up, but I think that might just be from the caffeine.
