Have never, ever been a fan of Disney. And I despise their cartoons & movies.
You couldn't pay me to watch any of their stuff.
That said, there is this one and only exception: the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Geoffrey Rush as Capt. Barbossa, and Johnny Depp as as Capt. Sparrow would be the two major reasons to allow me to temporary forget this franchise is from Disney....
I love Disney movies as well and deciding a favourite is hard, because they all have such beautiful stories. From the usual Disney movies my personal fave is Brother Bears, for some reason it just became the movie which I watched over and over again as a little child. I think it is underrated as well, but that's because the style of it differs from most disney movies
It's a two way tie between Inside Out and Zootopia for me. I can't just pick one. I loved the theme of Inside Out, the way they portrayed that depression =/= sadness is absolutely spectacular. Also loved how they intertwined the journey between the Emotions with the story happening in Riley's view. Zootopia on the other hand was a joy to watch from start to finish. There was never a time where I wasn't enjoying the show. Lovable characters, amazing world building, and mind-cranking themes that really set the bar high for the next shows imo. Disney just brings out so many good shows movie after movie it's insane how they never seem to drop significantly in quality. I always look forward to their new movies, and that's coming from a person who rarely watches movies at all.
Tangled!!! Definitely Tangled. I think my second choice would have to be 101 Dalmatians –– no reason in particular, I just love the aesthetic. I think that was my first love when I was a kid, too. At least as far as Disney goes.
