Hi, what’s your island’s theme? I just restarted and my Island doesn’t have a theme this time

No real theme to mine but I plan on making a farm and orchard section, Zen Garden, a plaza park, and maybe a small theme park/fair section. The Zen garden I want to have bamboo forming a wall, a waterfall, and an area for meditation in front of the waterfall. My one Beach has a picnic area with a campfire cookout item, a hammock, beach ball, and an Elephant Slide that I positioned to be facing towards the water.

My main island doesn’t have a theme. Certain sections have themes. A farm area , a zen area, shopping area. I decorate the island based on season.

Right now my second island has a garden / farm theme . When I restart my second island it will have a castle moon/stars/sun theme. I just need to think of an island name. Also rethink a few areas.

i’m honestly not sure how to describe it, especially since my island’s not complete yet and i haven’t decorated much. 😅 i’m aiming for a mixture of colourful, kidcore, fairycore and naturecore themes. i want my island to be as vibrant as possible without feeling blinding or too saturated, and for it to feel full of community and homely. i want it to be full of life and be a reflection of me and my love for colours and different aesthetics, basically.

I don't have a theme. I keep my island "in season." And I even try to keep my villagers rotating out with a few of them being perfect "for the season." For example, you can see in my signature I have Wart Jr., Maple, and Fauna for the fall season. They all have the right aesthetic for it! I didn't have any "Halloween" villagers this year, but last year I had Rodeo, Lucky, Cherry, and Ribbot. And now I'm already thinking about the upcoming season, having seen Whitney while island hopping the other day, and planning on using Amiibo cards to have Erik come and replace Wart Jr. and Sprinkle come and replace Tangy (who I had for the summer season) by the beginning of next month.

I am struggling to rearrange my zen island into a pink toy island (I really don't log in much). I have lots of pink items ready in my inventory, but I am too lazy to dig up my fields of flowers. It would be nice to have it ready for Christmas, though!

My island has a dead theme to it where the island has graves, and flowers to represent how flowers are left for the dead, and also my siblings helped with placing all of the items on the island, and it took us a long time since we also have a orchard full of fruits. The island has statues now because they give off a dead like vibe if you get what I'm saying (basically the statues have been forgotten and everything).

There isn’t an explicit theme. I’m not interested in any of the ”cores” for my own island and I don’t want to theme it after a series.

the theme would probably be unity in several ideas, there are party areas and a lot of festivale stuff and a casual feel, but I’m more interested in making up headcanons and ideas to tie things together. I’d say my island has a natural feel but not overgrown, cottagecore etc., there are bits about me running a fruit farm, there are bistro areas, the villagers have jobs/hobbies I decorate with that compliment eachother etc.

Or maybe I just don’t realise I have a theme XP

Fantasy/fandom. I have a fantasy island feel, but five little areas inspired by my favorite fandoms/shows/movies.

My friend thinks my island is creepy, but I like the over grown fantasy look lol.

It was going to be fairy tale themed, but I had to stretch it to have a few villagers I wanted to include “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” song as well as a book by Shel Silverstein about wanting a rhino as a pet because I really liked Biff and Hornsby

Did not mean to make such a huge wall of text, a tl;dr (too long; didn't read) follows at the bottom.

I don't really know if I can say my island has a theme. I did have a plan of sorts for my island though, which included having it separated into two or three different communities which would be split by the island's river. The first section is simply called "Error" (the name of my island) and would be a moderately developed town-like area, including all of my island's main buildings, two villager homes, and my own home. Across the river to the Northeast, stretching around to a strip along the entire North side of my island, would be a more rural and sparsely developed area that contained the bulk of my island's villagers (I think I had 7 houses spread throughout this area). I often referred to the area as the "Error outskirts," or in the case of the elevated Northern strip, "Error Heights." The remaining chunk of my island, which included the West side and the central area between Error proper and Error Heights, was meant to be a farming community I called "Vista." It only included one villager home, but had two player characters living there as well. One was supposed to be the main farm, and the other was just an ordinary resident.

I never was able to finish this idea before I stopped playing. Describing all of this did get me thinking about starting the project back up though, perhaps one day the plan might actually come to fruition.

tl;dr: No real theme, just an island divided into 3 separate areas: town, housing/outskirts, and farming. Progress has been stalled for a while and may or may not continue.
