Are you student, working, both... or something else?
I am always curious about what people do in their lives *outside* of ACNL, haha.

I'm a mental health registered nurse. :)

Other than being a part-time college student, I don’t have any occupation. But I wish to have one some day.

What are you studying?

Currently doing work practice at a second-hand store :)

That sounds interesting :D
What does "work practice" specifically entail though? ^_^

I don't have an occupation yet. My college classes won't start until January 2019. Initially, I was applying for being a registered nurse but due to things not going the way I thought it would have, it's not happening. However, I'm pursuing culinary arts, an alternative to achieving a career. :)

I am a printer and sticker maker for a well known company.
I mostly make wine labels though

That is so cool!
I want to buy a sticker maker (or label maker?) and label everything in my house haha!

What will you be doing until your classes start~?
And I'm sorry it didn't go as planned with being an RN but culinary arts is so fascinating!
I think if I were to be reborn again, I'd either stay in the healthcare field or move into culinary arts. :)

I'm a full time university student and I teach piano and vocal lessons part time.

What do you study? I assume it's related to music since you teach piano and vocal lessons.
I wish I could play piano and I am definitely in dire need of a vocal coach haha

I’m a full time university student and I write for the student newspaper. Working towards being a sports broadcaster and author in the future. :)

Full-time student studying Natural Resources Engineering (basically Environment Engineering) working part-time in a supermarket as a Deli assistant :)

I work full-time in Purchasing for a large manufacturing company, and I go to school part-time for Operations Management.

I fell into my job after dropping out of university after eight months of Computer Science, and I liked it so much I decided to go back to school for it. It’s too bad you never really learn about all of the jobs that are out there while you’re in high school... I felt like my only options were to be a doctor, a lawyer, a scientist, a teacher or a programmer and I had no clue what I wanted to do. I didn’t know that Operations Management was a thing, or how many jobs it’s related to and how integral it is to society.

TL;DR - it’s totally OK to have no clue what the heck you want to do out of high school - things have a way of working themselves out and sometimes working before going to school is a better idea, because you learn what you like and what jobs are actually out there.

Customer Service Representative of a somewhat okay retail store.

It's intended for people who are either far away from the "normal" job market, recovering from addiction and need to get back, need to do community service etc.

For me I've Aspergers(exactly what people in service business want lmao sorry i suck at coding and stuff) so yeah it's been a really good time there (it ends in a bit more than a month) so I hope it can be of some help getting a somewhat real hire with paid salary rather then just getting like $350 a month from social security agency...not really much when I need to buy so much food and travel tickets just bc my mom can be an ass sometimes about her money which is like way way more than that lol.

Also sorry about the late reply I tend to forget about threads unless people like and/or discuss it further in vms or such.

Apologies for the late reply. I'm thinking of getting a job for a while but I don't really know where. As of this post, I'm just practicing on my drawing skills to get better.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I REALLY wanted to be an animator, but I didn't feel ready to take that career yet as to why I'm practicing. It's not my time yet but who knows? I might be able to create my own show someday in the future!

Currently I'm a book shelver at the main library on my college campus. I chose that job because they're flexible with hours and they know that I'm a very busy student.

Over the Summer I've been thinking about either giving piano lessons to younger children or getting an internship at a physics/astronomy research institute close by. But yeah, during the school year I shelve and catalog books n stuff.

I'm a student in a highschool, trying to get in a college for art/animation. I'm working hard everyday to gradulate. I have about 2 more years till graduation year. After that time, i'll be working on doing bunch of digital art, and animations! Heavily inspired by Stariaat! *o* I didnt know you could "actually" do animations with music, so that's how i'm inspired by this talented animator! :3

I'm a full-time college student and I honestly have never had a part-time job. Probably dodged a bullet earlier this year though as Vector Marketing wanted to hire me...

I've been working as a cashier at a supermarket for 3 odd years and I have no plans to move on as sad as that may sound. There is drama but they treat me well, pay fairly and I am good enough at my job to be more use than just being one of a number. So I'm happy at the moment. <3
