What's your talent(s)?

Hm, now that I think about it, every "talent" I've had I dropped. I have other hobbies, like art and coding, that I wouldn't say I'm talented at, yet.

None. Skill? I can draw, compose music, and play the piano, though I'm rusty. I don't know if this counts, but I'm also learning German and understand some words.

This basically sums it up for me. I’m not talented at anything, lol, but I AM very skilled at writing and martial arts because I’ve been practicing both for a very long time.

If there was a talent for being kind and empathetic towards people, I would take home the gold trophy though. jk

Creativity if that counts! It's hard to pick a specific thing since I apply it in various areas of my life whether with humor, art, ideas, and so forth.

I think most people put talent and skill under the same definition. Talent is something you're good at while skill is something you practiced to get good at.

I have a few skills that I think would fall under “talents”, or more specifically things I can do with seemingly less practice than you might expect.
- I can draw well, as long as it’s a more cartoony style, and I can do fairly convincing still-life acrylic paintings
- I play a few different musical instruments (although this is something I in no way excel at compared to others 😅)

Also, I don’t know if this counts, but I can also mentally process information insanely quickly. I guess that’s why I love escape rooms so much lol.

Sleeping. I can sleep for a long time.
Cooking eggs.

Honestly I have no other talents. Everyone I know is better than me at everything I can think of.

Oooh! Making puns is my talent! I've been told that by many people. Whether they're good puns or not is up to the person hearing them.

I’m kinda good at art? And I can cook somewhat well,,,

I play music. I’m working on arranging songs based on what I hear, but I’m not so good at that yet.

I can wrap presents really well! I can tie a mean ribbon if I do say so myself.
That is an amazing talent!! I cannot wrap presents or tie ribbons to save my life ;A;

HRMMM, I guess I can fall asleep easily on a plane..or whereever actually

I have a mad talent for making bad decisions.. and I'm skilled at being erratic or chaotic in every life choice I make🤣
No I kid.
I'm naturally gifted in the ability to draw and create things.

It's cool to see everyone elses skills. It's eye opening to see the variety of talented people we share the forum with ❤

I’m not super talented in many things. I excel at singing, I’ve been told that I have a gift! I try and fine tune it, but it’s been hard given recent events. I’m skilled in a lot of things like cooking, baking, skiing, soccer, and reading comprehension (I can read a book super fast and understand it). I’m good at swimming and ok at art, but I’m trying to get better! I’m incredible at making situations uncomfortable by making a joke, so I think that would count as a skill as well.

Well, you gotta figure:

It can take years before a plastic bag will break down.
Me? Shoot, I can do that in seconds!

-=-=-=-=-

I've been told I'm talented, but I just don't see it. Probably because I'm also the most pessimistic and self-hating person I know.
😅

I suppose I could have a talent for hearing languages?
I've been known to pick up tones, sounds and pitches made with certain languages that I can replicate

Speaking of sounds, I've been known as a useless vessel for character noises. I come up with weird sounds constantly, replicate them, or try to replicate voices or noises I hear in tv.
So..like voice acting basically, but I'm not an actor, I just make sounds lol

I’ve had a natural skill for reading and writing for a long time. In school I always read well above my grade level and got consistently good scores on writing assignments. Nearly every English teacher I’ve had said I should become an author. Sadly those high expectations have scared me from writing anything professional.

I've always done amazing in those subjects as well, however when I was automatically placed in honors english for the new school year I was immediately intimidated lol

I'm really not good at anything. I suppose I've been told I have a knack for academic writing, but that's not too exciting. lol

I'm good at painting, redesigning my toys, creating things, racing in racing games, good at finishing games pretty fast, good at puzzles irl, and good at art.
