I'll be working on Friday, but I'll probably leave about a half hour early (not really an issue at my job as long as you don't make a habit out of it) to swing by Target and get the game. Hopefully the line isn't crazy or they at least let me check-out in the electronics section instead of the main line. That should have me playing the game by Friday evening.

Welp, I guess I’m not playing until next week on the 26th, it just updated and says it will arrive at that time...I...I’m never preordering with target again... at least amazon delivered on release date... I am immensely Disappointed and sad...
i'll be starting at midnight tomorrow night! i'm super excited for it. i started playing new leaf when it was released at midnight as well, so i can't wait!! i live in the mountains though, so i'm so grateful for the pre-download this time around. i didn't finish downloading new leaf until about 4am when it released. 
The last of my travel plans were just cancelled because of everything going on. Since we tend to stay up a little later on Thursday anyway because he raids with a group in WoW, my husband is encouraging me to stay up until midnight and then play the little tutorial stage because he knows I'm super excited about it. So, I might play my digitial copy at midnight.

I preordered it before Corona, so I planned on picking it up from Gamestop during my lunch break at work on the 20th... since nowhere here was doing midnight releases. But now that I'm not working this week (and probably next week), I digitally preordered it so I can play at 12AM on Thursday night! I will just have to get refunded later for my first preorder lol
I'll be playing at midnight as well. I wish I could be that person to go to bed at a reasonable hour, wake up early and start the game Friday morning, but there's no way I'll be able to fall asleep with this game on my mind. Might as well stay up and enjoy it as soon as it comes out!

Are you worry with the chance of getting Corona at Gamestop? I'm not worry about myself but my dad would not make it if he get the Corona virus. The only other option is to download the game which would take around 6 days with my internet speed. So I will probably play it a week later.

The GameStop I preordered at cancelled the midnight release, so I’m not going to be able to start playing until I pick it up when they open on the 20th. As far as I know they should stay open, but I’m planning on just buying the digital if they suddenly shut down which is entirely possible In my area now.

As soon as possible, but I'm a little nervous.. My limited edition switch was scheduled to be delivered today and it arrived in my town this morning. I later looked at the tracking and it said there was an error with my package and now it's in a whole other state?? I have no idea what happened, but now I'm paranoid that it's going to be delayed even more, possibly throughout the weekend. I have the digital version of the game but I can't play without a switch lol
Sorry that this was a little off topic, I just needed to vent a bit. I'm really hoping it'll be here tomorrow so I can stop worrying about it.
