when are you planning to start playing?

Well, my target preorder is stuck on pending and it says it won't come in til 23rd to 26th soooo.... yeah.

Yes I thought about cancelling it and getting digital, but I really want that journal. I can't rationalize going to a store to pick up another and then return the preordered one when it arrives (as some people have suggested) when people are getting sick and all that. All I can do is sit tight and hope it miraculously comes in early.

I’m still torn between digital vs physical copy. I’m leaning towards digital just so I don’t have to switch out cartridges and it will always be on my Switch. Depending on if I have to work Friday or not, I would do the digital and play midnight Thursday. If I have to work I’ll probably just bring my switch to work and play since we’re only seeing emergencies anyway. It will be slow. I’m so excited! I can’t believe it’s almost here! I’m excited to see what starting villagers everyone gets, hear how many times people reset, what airport colors they get, all that good stuff

Game is ready for play on March 19th at 9pm for handheld or the big screen TV. I could start playing than but want to wait for my husband and dog to go to bed. I want to play when it's quiet and should start just after 10pm.

I stay up late at night and plan on setting my game for 4 or 5pm on the first day.

How did you find out it wouldn't be delivered until the 23rd?

My order from EB Games still estimates delivery on release day. (Not sure how that'd work though seeing as they've taken the remaining money out of my account but haven't shipped it yet.)

On the EB games website you ordered it on, if you look at the order you made, it should say the delivery date at the top.
