Do you have your license?
If so, I'm curious as to when you fill up your fuel tank. What does your fuel gauge read when you pull up to the pumps?

If you don't have your license, but have a parent who does; When do they fill up?

Personally: I usually fuel up at about a quarter tank, sometimes if I'm feeling lazy I'll let it get to an eighth of a tank.

when the light comes on which I really need to stop lmao.

Usually 1/8th. Normally when I fill it the gauge is 2-3 ticks or so away from empty. I usually put $22 worth of gas in whenever I go.

1/8 because I'm young and poor and try to let it go as much as I can without filling it. I panic when the gas light comes on though, so I really try not to let it get there. My parents will see my tank like 1/2 full and tell me my tank is almost empty and I'm just like, "d***n, no, my tank is like really full." Jeez.

1/4

I usually try to keep enough just in case I have to be somewhere in a hurry and don't have time to stop at the gas station.

I usually try to fill up around 1/4 left because I used to drive a car that had horrible gas mileage and it always made me nervous to see it at 1/4 left.

Now I have a great car with great mileage and I still sometimes fill up at 1/4 left, but sometimes I remember I don't have to freak out as much and let the tank get a little more empty before filling it up again.

usually when i git half a tank. sometimes i'll wait until 1/4 or when im really ballsy i'll let it hit e.

I usually fill the gas tank when it's around a quarter or so, although if I have extra time and money on me, I'll sometimes fill it up when it's around 3/4. I've also occasionally let the gas go down even further (not necessarily on purpose), but it's not a very wise idea to have the tank nearly empty (for a number of reasons).

I usually start thinking about filling up when it gets to 1/4. I don't rush to the pump right away, though. I try to pick a good day where the weather isn't too cold or rainy and when I'm not too busy. So by the time I actually fill up, it may be down to 1/8 or the light may have come on.

Gas costs too much to completely fill up my car. Luckily, my car has a feature that lets it estimate how many miles I have until I run out of fuel. I usually refill around the 1/4 mark.

I tend to aim for the quarter mark before I fuel up my vehicle. That way it's low enough where it warrants being fueled up, but still high enough in case I'm unable to fuel up immediately.

When the light comes on lol. I could actually get away with the light being on for a couple days in the car I used to drive because it would go off and on, but I haven't tried it with my new car because I'm scared of pressing my luck and being stranded somewhere because of it.

I don’t drive yet, but my dad does. I can’t see the fuel gauge from the front passenger seat. However, I do see the kilometres remaining before gas runs out. In this case, my dad would refuel somewhere within 30 to 50 km.

It really depends. I voted 1/8 because that seems to be the average amount left in the tank when I do fill up. I usually fill when gas prices are low though, and if the price is good I will top up. But being honest, usually my dad refills the car.

1/4 tank. I used to work as a direct support professional and had to transport clients (class E license), and one of the agency rules at a place I worked at said our tanks always had to be at least 1/4 full. Ever since then, that's been my requirement for filling tanks.
