Do you have a preference to where you like your bed to be and why? Is it more comfortable? Convenient? Does it look nicer? I'm curious!

It might be because my bed has always been in the middle of the room my entire life, but I see the corner as cozy and compact. Being in the middle of the room makes me feel like I'm hogging up all of the space I could have.

Okay. I’m going to say that I don’t have a preference for where I want my bed to be. I don’t use beds because they are big and take up a lot of room. I typically sleep on couches and futons, by choice. The last time that I actually used a bed was when I was in middle school, and when I sleep at hotels. I sleep on an air mattress currently, but I have slept on a futon in the past. They serve two purposes: they are a couch and you can use it as a bed. I like when things serve more than one purpose. My futons are usually in the corner of the room.

This is not uncomfortable for me, actually. The air mattress I currently use is very comfortable. It’s close to the ground and I sleep with a soft blanket and sometimes a heating pad when it’s “that time.” If you know you know, lol.

I keep my beds in the center of both my rooms since that’s what I’ve done since I was a kid. It’s nice to be able to hop on either side of the bed, even if it reduces the amount of space in the room.

i prefer to have my bed centered in the middle of a wall, but ive had my bed in the corner a few times in the past. ive never tried away from the wall except for sleeping on air mattresses when traveling and i dont really enjoy how open it is haha i like having a wall behind the bed

In the corner (even though that makes it harder to change the sheets), preferably against a window. I love being able to wake up with the sun, or hear beating rain as I fall asleep.

And like Neurotiker said above me — facing the door! I need to see who's coming in and out lmao

I am basic! I like the corner because its very cozy and like my own little space :D

In the middle of the wall. Being able to access both sides helps when changing the sheets and it's essential when sharing the bed with my husband so we don't have to crawl over each other since we come and go at different times.

I have had my bed in the corner a few times as a child and I didn't mind it then, but things have changed since I got older.

I don't really care where my bed is in relation to the door, but I've noticed that recently I always put it on the same wall beside the door so that I'm not facing it. That may just be coincidence though, because that's usually the only free wall without windows or a closet. I do NOT like having a window behind my bed. I guess I'm more worried about things coming in from outside than through the door.

I've always wanted to put my bed in the corner because I think it would feel more cozy, but my mom won't let me.

In the past I've had my bed on the wall and accessible from both sides, but I prefer it pushed into a corner where I can still see the door. It doesn't have to face the door but if I'm laying in bed I need to be able to see the door. I do like the idea of having my bed near a window, but not directly below it. 1 I usually use sunlight to wake me up and 2, I'm more so afraid of somethin crashing throu my window or someone seeing me throu it if I was directly near or next to it. The way my bed is now, I can see the window while I'm laying in it.

I also like to keep my bed pushed into a corner so all my stuffed animals can stay in haha.

Mine is in the right center of my room. I'd like it to be in the direct center because my room has a vaulted ceiling and it looks better, but the door (French doors) are on the opposing wall off to the left, which kinda forced me to put the dresser/TV to the right of those. I then lined up the bed to mirror the TV.

I totally agree that corner beds are super cozy, but mine's a large four poster so the frame alone would cause a pretty sizable gap between the bed and wall if I were to try for that setup. Growing up I always had my bed in the corner, and always facing the door.

Well, my bed is against the wall and it’s two beds pressed together. We have a large mattress so it acts like a large bed. I sleep on the end that’s close to the door cuz it’s easier for my disability.

When I was younger, my bed was in the middle of my room, but my room isn't terribly large anyway, so I prefer having my bed in the corner for the extra space to move around. Especially since I normally do my workouts in my room; if my bed was in the middle, I'm not sure there'd be enough room. I have a daybed frame now, so the corner makes even more sense—I'd have to perform a vault if I wanted to hop in from that side anyway. 😅

Mine’s against the wall near to my balcony/window, with access on both sides. I have a coffee table on one side where I charge all my devices and where my cat sleeps lol. It’s a tiny bed though, and I rather sleep on the floor… but we had an extra bed when moving houses so I’m using it for now.

my bed is preferably in the corner, because I'm used to it and it leaves space in my room for other things. I currently have a desk that wouldn't fit if my bed wasn't in the corner. I'm also planning on getting a plant shelf, and no way it will fill if my bed wasn't in the corner.
