Where was your last holiday?

Wow, we really are getting all over the world aren't we? where are your most sought after destinations? For me I'd love to go to Canada and Australia, also New Zealand (where the honeymoon will be based) for the lights and scenery. I'm personally living in Scotland right now and whilst rather freezing, the scenery is breathtaking.

Even though I don't like traveling, there are a few places that I would love to go someday. Australia is at the top of my list and I'd actually love to move there. I'm thinking specifically about Queensland because of the Great Barrier Reef.

I'd also like to go to Japan to experience the culture, the shrines and castles, and the cherry blossoms. It'd be a whole lot easier to get there from Australia too, because right now I'm on the opposite side of the world.

My last vacation before corona was in 2019. Me, my mom, my dad, and brother took a plane to Minnesota to go see my grandparents (from my dad's side.) It's supposed to take 2 hours to get there by plane but it took 6 hours because of a stupid layover. I got to see my grandparent's new house, their cute doggos, and a bunch of other relatives. I also got to see my great grandma (or better refered to as GG) for the last time unfortunately, because she died from Covid-19 in 2020 (R.I.P). As for sought after designations, I'd like to go California or maybe Japan one day.

vancouver not too long before covid appeared. i've had two different holidays planned since then but both have fell through for obvious reasons, i was just a little too optimistic when planning them and now i've learned my lesson

Mine was east of France last August. It was in a friend's family home, and the restriction/lockdown rules were softer at that time.

I went to Lyon in France to visit a friend in September 2019 and we moved to Paris for a few days. I wanted to visit Singapore again later and Poland and London again with a friend (went there for the third time, but alone this time, in August 2019), but Covid... urgh, I don't know when would be my next holidays, maybe never according to the gouvernment lol

I went on a short weekend trip last week up north to Rainbow Beach and double bay (queensland, Australia). Though for Christmas I went up really high, higher than Cairns and Port Douglas, and it was a great long trip. About 4000km of driving in just over a week!

Australia is blessed to have handled corona well and not have too many breakouts!!

Loved Amsterdam when I went, did you partake in the.. colourful activities? I went to festivals, raves, and boat parties. My friend and I had a VIP festival ticket and certainly made the most of it, haha! I hope to live there one day, working on it at the moment. Saving up and putting in for a mortgage and job after my degree.

Australia would be a dream, beautiful coast, beautiful houses, amazing people and animals. What a joy!

I went to Hawaii back in spring 2019 and my boyfriend proposed to me. Thanks to covid, we still haven't had the wedding, it'll happen someday...

I went to Paris in the summer of 2019, I really love the city and it was nice to practise a bit of French. I love travelling so I'm disappointed that I haven't been able to do any since!

My vacation in 2020 was on an island near my home in Holland. It's was beautiful and very warm. The sands so clean and the water so clear. It was like i was on a tropical island! But a few kilometres further all the garbage and nasty creepy crawly's accumulated and it was smelly. Lots of shells too and that's not nice too walk on. Weird how some beached are beautiful and some are not.

I believe mine was summer 2019. I usually would go to the San Diego area each year to visit a family member. It's always a fun time. However, with shutdowns so early on in 2020, I didn't end up going last year. I also haven't gone this year yet. I will be fully vaccinated on April Fool's Day though (hopefully all goes well and there's no jokes ). I do have quite a bit of airline points saved up, so I'm hopefully going to be able to go again soon.

My last holiday abroad was in 2018 when I visited Marbella. Since then I’ve been on staycations & visited family once during the pandemic. Desperately can’t wait to get away again!
