yeah because they would Totally not be suspicious when there's a big patch of grass just gone..? or if you would just dump them there it wouldn't take long before it was found and the police would come and if the body couldn't be tied to the people living in the house they wouldn't be arrested. you would have to get rid of everything that can tie back to you which could lead the police to you. dumping it in someone elses yard would only make the media Super Into the case which probably wouldn't be the best.

so, in my opinion, it'd be way better to dump it somewhere where people are much less likely to find it. don't bring your phone, take your car with the body properly wrapped up so it doesn't make the car messy, then drive somewhere far away from people and dump it as far from a big road something as you can. i assume it would be way harder for you to get caught that way.

i heard about some people who dumped their child they had murdered in a lake during winter, they made a hole in the ice and put him in it. pretty sure they had attached heavy weights to the body so it wouldn't float. the police found the body because the mother confessed and led them to the exact spot where they had dumped it, otherwise it would have been really hard to find.
while that's a real life murder that's incredibly sad, i think the same method would be good to use in this hypothetical scenario.
